offering peace and quiet. Enjoy nature at its best as you sit on the front porch and rock away your
troubles. One guest said they identified about 20 different birds plus other wildlife. This studio
cabin is in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is conveniently located to many wonderful
experiences. Come and enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere, a little oasis we tried to create for
our guests. One time to The Little Cabin and you're hooked. Others keep coming back. You will too!

The Biltmore House and Blue Ridge Parkway are only 15 minutes away, as well as Historic
Hendersonville and Historic Asheville. Chimney Rock, Black Mountain, Mt. Mitchell and Cherokee are
also close by. The area offers hiking, biking, canoeing, rafting, fishing, waterfalls, climbing,
fine golf courses, horseback riding and great shopping. Folk Art Center, Shindig on the Green,
street dances and many craft fairs are ongoing most all the time.
Asheville Regional Airport is also close by.

Minimum 2 days except on holidays, then minimum 3 days.

50% of rental fee required upon making reservations.  Balance due 30 days prior to arrival plus a $100 security deposit payble by check, cashiers check, or money order.  A "Paid Departure Clean" is available for those not wishing to clean cabin yourself for $50.

"A much needed respite"

"My boyfriend and I had been working entirely too long without a break so I went on line looking for a place to relax, a place to serve as a "center of operations" for a multifaceted escape. We are both in our 50s and enjoy outdoor activities. The location of TLC allowed us easy access to Lake Lure,on which we spent a full day kayaking. The Blue Ridge Parkway supplied an extraordinarily beautiful ride and was close by. Many restaurants are in easy driving distance of the cabin.
Communication with the owner prior to our arrival was always promptly answered. The ease of "check in" was greatly appreciated as we required flexibility in the time we arrived. The personal greeting by the owner and the offer for assistance with any needs we might have was also appreciated. She was readily accessible without being intrusive. TLC was immaculate upon our arrival. The decorations were quaint and welcoming.
We were able to satisfy our need for outdoor activity and then return to the cabin to relax in the rocking chairs on the back porch. The owner was a great source of information for a less populated park in which to hike.
To summarize, TLC was a neat, clean, welcoming place for us to stay while we pursued many exciting outdoor activities. The owner made rental, check-in and departure seamless. We would highly recommend this property for a getaway and look forward to a return visit. "

Terrific Little Cabin

We spent 16 wonderful days in this exceptional little cabin. Even tho' small, it has everything you could want or need, from a well equipped kitchen complete with coffee, sugar, creamer, salt and pepper, even pan spray! Likewise the bathroom has a lot of little extras you do not expect. The cabin is nicely decorated and comfortable, the back porch has 2 comfy white rocking chairs making it a great place to watch the hummingbirds feed, look at the distant mountains, or just enjoy the feeling that you are in a tree house. The parking is in front of the cabin, large enough for even the biggest SUV, and there are no steps to manuever for those of us who are chronologically challenged. The location could not be more perfect: close to everything you want to sightsee, close to shopping, restaurants, yet when you are at TLC you feel you are faraway! We highly recommend this as a place to rest, relax and then Go, go, go have fun!

Recommended for: age 55+, people with disabilities, sight seeing, romantic getaway
