Long Island, the cottage is perfect for swimming in the Sound, long
walks on the beach, and dining on the large deck overlooking nothing
but water, beach and the gentle curve of the coast. Sunsets are
spectacular.
Inside the house features contemporary and mid-century modern
furnishings, large picture windows, new hardwood floors, original art,
and high ceilings.
Additionally, there is a custom-designed, private outdoor shower (with
dressing room & water views) and beach access along a 75-yard private
path directly in front of the house.
In the midst of the North Fork's rustic charms -- its renowned farm
stands, vineyards and antique shops -- the house is just minutes from
some three dozen wineries and tasting rooms, and only 7 miles from the
historic fishing village of Greenport and ferries to Shelter Island
and the Hamptons.
