vacation rental description
Since 2004, Cove House has been a great place to stay when visiting renowned Acadia National Park. The spacious deck allows you expansive views of Raccoon Cove, Frenchman Bay, Schoodic Point and the mountains of Mount Desert Island.
Enjoy Maine's natural beauty and the many attractions it offers while staying in this spotless, pleasant log cabin that is just right for a couple or for a family of six. Cove House sits on a bluff about 25 feet above the Cove. It has an airy, open-floor plan - a great room with a cathedral ceiling and two stories of windows for panoramic views. Dining area and fully equipped kitchen provide a pleasant eating experience.
Two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two singles - and a full bathroom with laundry facilities are on the first floor.
The second floor contains the master suite with large walk-in closet, king bed, dresser, desk, satellite television, and even has plenty of room for a crib, provided as needed. The bathroom has a large jaccuzzi and separate shower. A loft overlooking the living room is ideal to play board games, work on a puzzle, play chess or read a good book.
A bench overlooking the water is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the expansive view. There is access to the shore at one place only to protect the delicate vegetation and prevent erosion.
Children are welcome. We aim for a low allergen environment by keeping the property smoke- and pet free.
