serenity of being in the mountains.  Cataloochee is just 6 miles up the mountain.  The town of Waynesville and Maggie Valley are 15 minutes away and you are 3 minutes to Hwy 40 which takes you to Asheville or Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. 

3 Bedroom split plan -  1 king, 1 Queen, 1 Full

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is furnished with all the comforts of your own home with all amenities including paper products and all linens. Fully equipped kitchen includes coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, toaster and tableware.  The home also includes washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, hair dryer and alarm clocks.  Home is furnished with 3 cable connected TVs, DVD player and WI FI for your internet needs. Home has a gas grill for those who love the grilling scene. You can curl up by the gas logs in the living room on cool fall evenings.   

Close to many local attractions: Blue Ridge Parkway , Smoky Mountain National Park, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, tubing, panning for gold, gem mining, miniature golf, snow skiing, and Cherokee Indian Reservation.

Maggie Valley has Ghost Town, Carolina Nights Dinner Theater, Wheels through Time (Harley Davidson Motorcycle), The Stomping Ground (music/clogging), trout farms and fishing. Take the short drive(15 minutes) to downtown Waynesville with some of the best small town shopping around or enjoy a street festival held on many weekends. Make time for Barber's apple orchard with the best apple pie and cake in the South (open August thru December) Drive 30 minutes to Asheville to enjoy the Biltmore Estate and Farmer's Market.  Don't care to shop or tour? - stay back, relax and enjoy the serenity and peace of the Smoky Mountains.  You may see Elk in the evening from the front porch. 

Regular Rates: Weekly - $650.00; Daily $119 (3 night minimum)

Holiday Rates:Weekly -  $750.00; Daily $139.00 (New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th July, Labor Day, October, November & December)

Deposit: A security deposit of $250.00 is required to hold reservation. Reservation is not guaranteed until deposit is received. Deposit is refunded within seven (7) days from check-out date upon a satisfactory inspection of the home. Payment in full for rental is due two (2) weeks prior to rental date. We accept personal checks, cashier checks and money orders.

Cancellation Policy: All prepaid security deposit and/or prepaid rent monies are refundable should your reservation be cancelled at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. If reservation is cancelled during the 30 days prior to your arrival date, the security deposit is forfeited.

Maximum guests sleeping over: Six (6) Exception for additional people (for additional fee) will be considered)

Cleaning: $100.00 cleaning fee due upon departure.

Non-smoking policy: Tate Mtn. Home is a smoke free property. Please do not smoke in the home or toss cigarettes into the yard.

Pets: Sorry, we do not allow pets.

Check-in is 4:00 pm. Check-out is 10:00 am. Sometimes early check-in and/or late check-out may be available depending on the arrival/departure of other guests (Ask in advance of your stay) Please respect these times as the home requires thorough cleaning before new guests arrive.
