Vacation Rental Description

Inserted in one of the trendiest traditional neigborhoods - part of the Design District of Santos 
(where you can find some of the coolest design shops, restaurants and bars in Lisbon) and with easy 
access to most of the interesting sites in Lisbon. It is a 5 min walk to the train station linking 
Lisbon with the beach areas of Estoril and Cascais and a 10 minute walk to both downtown Lisbon and 
the river Tagus.

The room was originally a storage room for the main family house built in the early 1800s. It has now 
been converted in to a room with its independent entrance and private bathroom. The original paneled 
ceilings, wooden floors and windows have been preserved giving it a cozy atmosphere. 

Ideal for a romantic weekend, it can also comfortably accomodate 3 with a double bed and a sofa that 
converts into a third bed.

Charming and with an ideal location giving you the opportunity to experience all Lisbon has to offer.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Bedroom has large closets and a large double bed. Ceiling and floor all in 'old' wood. Contains also a 
large Sofa bed. The room  itself does not have a kitchen but has a refrigerator, a microwave, cofee 
machine, water boiler, toaster, plates and cutlery.
If possible acess to main house kitchen can be discussed.
It also has cable Tv and a heater.
Linen, soap and food for your first breakfast are available.
The room as its private bathroom with a bath tub and shower.
Access to the room is totally independent from the main house.

Activities and Attractions

The Santos neighborhood is situated between the neighborhoods of Lapa,  Alcantara and São bento. Here 
you can view hold 'palaced' houses since they are some of the richest neighborhoods of Lisbon. You 
will be just 10 minutes walking distance from downtown Lisbon , 15 minutes from the lisbon castle and 
it's old neighborhood of Graça. Just at your door step one can catch touristic transports to go to 
other monuments further away (jeronimos and belem). You may also catch a train, just by walking 500m 
to cascais or Estoril. Boat ferries to the other side of the river and some of the best beaches in 
Lisbon are just 10 minutes walking distance.
The neighborhood itself is full of restaurants, bars, supermarkets or tradicional commerce and design 
shops. It is also on of the sub centers of night life.
As cultural attractions you have 2 minutes walking distance the museum for 'old art' (old masters, 
Gaugin, monet,) and the Azulejo Museum. Very close also is the tradicional market of Ribeira
