Vacation Rental Description

This delightful, totally renovated & furnished studio guest cottage is 
perfect as a quiet vacation hideaway or a relaxing retreat if you plan 
to stay longer.  Best for a single guest or a couple, our cozy, 
light-filled  cottage is crowned by skylights and features French 
doors opening onto a charming backyard patio and garden with lemon and 
orange trees.  We're situated on a treed, residential street only one 
mile from the ocean in beautiful Mar Vista, right next to Santa Monica 
and Marina del Rey.  
 
Top-flight restaurants, cinemas and antique shops are 3-5 minutes 
away.  And if you drive down our cross street (passing a very 
convenient Costco and an Albertson's supermarket), you'll arrive at 
the fabulous beaches of Santa Monica and Venice in less time than it 
takes to stroll around the block. 
 
The cottage offers a full kitchen with all utensils, glasses and 
cookware, as well as a large refrigerator, a gas range and oven, and 
new over-the-counter microwave stove.  Ingenious use of space allows 
you to use the tiled counter top area as a computer/work space -- 
there is plenty of storage and shelves underneath -- and as a dining 
area, as well as an extra counter space  for preparing your groceries 
from the nearby Venice and Mar Vista farmer's markets.  
 
The apartment comes with cable TV (including all premium movie 
channels and HBO), broadband DSL and a land line phone, all included 
in the rent, as well as a CD player with CD library.  
 
The studio's queen-size bed features an exceptional Temper-Pedic 
mattress that offers a superior sleep, and a view looking out through 
the French patio doors onto the backyard orange and lemon tress 
beyond.  The bathroom features a brand new corner circular shower (not 
shown in the pictures) and heat lamp.  And next to the bougainvillea 
in the backyard, there's  a convenient washer-dryer cabana which is 
shared with the main house's tenants next door. 
 
There's non-restricted street parking and, of course, all utilities 
are included in the rent.   
 
Our "Beethoven's Bungalow" is a true gem in the heart of L.A.'s west 
side, and is available beginning the middle of August '08 for either 
short-term (minimum four nights) or long-term stays.

$125/night...$800/week...$2,800/month.  Maximum 2 adults. 
There is a 3-night minimum stay.  
A $300 deposit must be made in order to confirm your reservation. 
We accept cash, major credit cards (via PayPal), wired funds, personal 
checks. 
(from California banks only) and bank money orders.  No infants or 
pets, please. 
All utilities and amenities are included, as well as local phone calls 
and Wi-Fi & DSL.  
Laundry facilities on premises. There is a $50 house cleaning fee.
