Beautiful View - Very Relaxing

We stayed at Diamond Reef Condominiums for three weeks. We arrived after dark in San Pedro and were met by Alvin, the condo caretaker. He took us back to the condo and got us settled in. Throughout our stay, Alvin was available to take us by boat (fee involved) wherever we wanted to go. The condo itself has two big bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room and bathroom. It has a large patio that gives one of the most relaxing and beautiful views. The condo is a long way from San Pedro and can really only be reached by boat, so we had to make sure we had all the groceries we needed. In this way, it was rather inconvenient and we had to be organized, often combining an evening out with grocery shopping. This was probably our only real complaint, that there are no dining options close by. As far as a relaxing place where you are virtually undisturbed, it is perfect. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped with basics. We enjoyed having the pier to ourselves on many days where we would lay out on lounge chairs underneath the palapa and watch the boats go by. The kayaks were a nice touch and we used them several times. The AC worked well and we were offered fresh towels and linens on a regular basis, and supplied with bottled water.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
