Mermaid's Castle is the beach house where vacation memories are made. Perfect for families ,couples ,or singles.It is the oldest beach house on Crescent
Beach.  Cypress wood outside, exposed wood beams on ceilings in
each room. Recently restored ,tastefully decorated in tropical colors.
Breathtaking ocean views from three sides of the living room and kitchen.
Glass windows run from tiled floors to vaulted ceilings.
The kitchen comes fully furnished, and is ready for entertaining.
Granite counter-tops, stainless top of the line stove ,and a wrap
around bar. There is nothing like cooking while you watch the pelicans
flying over the dunes! Our large deck runs across two entire side of
the house. Sit on the deck and sip that cool drink or dine outside
around the outside table.
Master bedroom is large and has a king size comfortable bed and a
gorgeous view. We use better quality linens. Bathroom is adjoining
bedroom.

Second bedroom has a queen size comfortable bed with quality linens,
and a beautiful view .

Sleeper sofa in the living room will sleep two. This is the bed to
wake up to with an ocean sunrise.

The downstairs has another two bedrooms that can sleep up to 6 people.  It has its own effeciency kitchen that opens on to the the pool deck, a great arrangment for a second family or for the kids. 

After a day at the beach swim in your own private pool (30 x 15),
stretch out, and sip a cool drink from the
Tiki hut bar complete with a tiled counter ,thatched roof, sink ,and
bar stools. Slide into the Jacuzzi hot tub and soak all that stress
away, or swing in the hammock in our walled garden. It just doesn't
get much better than this.

House can be rented top level only or top and bottom level together , seperate rates apply.

Fully stocked kitchen on main floor with a  downstairs poolside  effeciency kitchen.  Buggie and Skim boards and two beach cruiser bikes are on property for your use.

The Mermaid's Castle is located directly on the ocean, on one of the
most beautiful beaches in Florida.
Surfing,ocean kayaking, surf-fishing, Wind-Surfing,swimming and
shell-collecting. A main beach access ramp is at the end of the street
allowing you to drive your car for miles on the beach. Kayak Rentals are available at Anastasia State Park.   A nearby marina rents boats and boat slips.
Marineland aquatic park is 5 miles to our south. 
St. Augustine prides itself in its many fine restaurants seafood is a
specialty. Many of our favorites are close to the house.
Historic Downtown St. Augustine is just ten minutes north of us. We
are the nation's oldest city and have many wonderful shops, galleries,
museums, churches,and historical sites. Castillo de San Marcos our
coquina fort graces the bay front.
If you like to golf ,The world golf village is close by.

If you only have 4-6 guest you can rent the main part of the house which is on the second floor, and the rates range from $1,800 to $2,300 for the week.

If you have a larger group you can also rent the  first foor which has a seperate entrance off  the pool with another two bedrooms, bath an effeciency kitchen and living room  it's an additional  $800 to $1,200 per week.

Monthly rates range from $4,600 to $8,500 depending
on season  holiday and if you want  both floors of the house.

Holiday rates apply to Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter,
Memorial, Labor Day and Race/Bike Week.

Cleaning fee is calculated upon number of guests and pets, please ask
for details.
