Wonderful vacation!

Pictures online are sometimes hard to judge, but this cabin was very clean and had a lot of room. Although some of the pictures make the rooms look bigger, we had plenty of space. The bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty for our entire family of 11. The kitchen was modern, and utensils were well stocked. The thing I was most worried about was accessibility. As the internet says, every floor except for loft was wheelchair/motorized chair accessible. There was plenty of room to maneuver around furniture and out onto the decks. The glass block shower had just a little step - just needed to put a board down to roll into it.
The theater was GREAT and even had a Wii system too - that should be mentioned in the amenities so that other guests won't bring their own like we did. It had a microwave down there, and appeared as though it used to have a mini fridge which should be replaced. The air hockey table didn't work properly for us, but we could still play for fun. There were plenty of other games we could play too.
The bathrooms needed more hooks for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. Otherwise, a GREAT place!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Something for Everyone

It is nearly impossible to please everyone in large groups, and we are vacationing with family members of all ages...10 adults and two small children, and this cabin really has something for everyone. Since this is a review, and most people that read reviews, like myself, are looking for details...I will give the pros and cons of our stay.

The Cons:
Out of 7 rockers on the deck, 2 were completely broken, and the others were badly rigged. All of them should be replaced. There were no rockers or seating at all on the hot tub deck, which was a bummer for those who has access from their rooms. Lots of big cracks and splintered areas on the decking..just looks like it hasn't been kept up well, and carpenter bees are eating the porch everywhere. Literally sawdust falling in our drinks while we sit out there.
Loft bath is tiny and dark, w/ just a stand up shower.

Need a metal spatula for the grill. Plastic + heat= mess.

Cleaning crew should take more time in bathrooms, dirty rugs and shower curtains.

The Pros:
The View, The View, the VIEW!!! It is phenomenal...Better than any other cabin I've seen.

The drive up was easy, and the location is perfect for Dollywood, and Gatlinburg. The parking area is huge and flat. We had 4 trucks, 1 car, and a motorcycle trailer...plenty of room for all.

My 2 yr old has spina bifida, and uses a walker, so the elevator was a HUGE lifesaver! Between the main level, the game room, and the theater...we were always using the elevator.

The gameroom has everything you want! (the air hockey table was pretty flimsy) Theater room was awesome. Reclining seats were super comfy, and we made lots of popcorn!

Great communication and assistance from Earl. Always responded to my emails right away! While here, we had a microwave problem, and a slow coffeemaker. Micro was fixed, and coffeepot replaced the next day.

The cabin is beautiful, and Huge! Wide open living space, kitchen, and dining area on the main floor. There are 4 levels in the cabin. Two bedrooms are on each of the 3 main levels. (the theater room is on the bottom level) The loft level has a private King bedroom, and an open King Bedroom on the loft that share one bathroom. (best view in the house) The other 4 BR's have private baths w/ jacuzzi tubs and showers. These 4 BR's also have balcony access. My husband and I took the loft, with our 2 kids, and had plenty of space for sleep and play. Comfy beds. Amazing cabin. Loved it! thank you

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers

Owners response: We have purchased new rockers for the decks. A crew will be out this coming week to repair the
decks. We will ad some new grill tools and check on adding more light in the loft bathroom. We
will have the cabin retreated for the carpenter bees.
