Vacation Rental Description

Captain Nathan Clark ran the passenger ferry from Portland to 
Southwest Harbor a century ago. The family was one of the first 
settlers to Mount Desert Island.  The house overlooks southwest 
harbor, so you are walking distance to the shore, town center and 
the free Island explorer bus.  Acadia National park is just a few 
minutes away by car. Enjoy hiking, biking and swimming at Echo Lake, 
Acadia Mountain, the ladder trails and miles of carriage roads for 
the family to enjoy bicycle riding.

Ths house consist of 2 sides one 4 bedroom, 2 bath, with livingroom 
and fireplace, kitchen, game room and dining room with view of 
Southwest Harbor.

The Second side features a living room decorated with original barn 
boards from the carroll farm, a master bedroom with queen bed with 
Pine boards decorating the walls and ceiling a true Maine 
feeling,bath consisting of shower and washer and dryer. The second 
bedroom has bunk beds and a double bed. Kitchen has eat in area and 
a 
small dinette in living room. 1/2 bath, small porch area and a large 
area along with storage for bikes. The second part of the house 
adjoins the house and is the Main house dating back to the 1700's.

Rent as one compond for several families or rent one side for your 
families needs and size.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Outdoor grill, cable TV, stereo, yard space for picnic, Island 
explorer bus free to all points of Island right out your door.  
Walking distance to shore line.

Mount Dessert Island.
