Welcome to our Camden Lane Cottage!
Bring the kids, the surfboards, the boogie board, a good book and a sense of adventure for a
memorable beach vacation in our recently re-modeled beach house less than a half block from the
Pacific Ocean. There is a grassy backyard filled with palms and plants. The single-story open
floorplan features a softly-lit, roomy kitchen, comfy living room with a big screen TV, oak
flooring, freshly painted cinnamon-colored walls and new, sandy-colored carpeting that enhance the
unique warmth of this home.
Outside, there is a patio table and chairs, an outdoor shower, a chiminea with four chairs and gas
BBQ.
Step outside the rustic getaway and you'll be minutes from local restaurants, surf shops, upscale
shopping, live thearter that features top-notch drama and spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

* Three bedrooms: One King-size bed, one Queen and one Captains pullout (two twins) bed that sleeps
two.
Outside, there is a separate studio with a pullout double bed. The Master bedroom has a TV and glass
sliders that lead to the backyard.
* The "Kids Room" has a desk, bookcases and internet connection.
* Two full baths (with tub, the other with stall shower).
* The large, open living room has cable, big-screen satellite TV, DVD and a CD player with surround
sound.
* The newly re-modeled kitchen has bright, wood cabinets, new appliances and granite countertops.
* There is a separate storage room off the garage with a washer/dyer and wall to wall cabinets.
* Park your surfboards, bicycles and other toys in the open garage space.
* How could I forget the doggie door for Fido?
* Three parking spaces.
* An outdoor heated shower with separate entrance to the guest bedroom.
* Lovely plantings in the backyard give a sense of serenity and quiet---plus--you can hear the ocean
at night.
* There are beach chairs for the one minute walk to the sand.

What to do?
Downtown Ventura is a revitalized, vibrant small city filled with restaurants, (elegant and funky),
bars (lively or quiet),antique markets, a large movie complex, art galleries, a Saturday Farmer's
Market and a host of historical sites. The Rubicon is available for serious theatre or Comedy
Esquire for stand-up comedy. Two blocks down the street is a harbor park with a grassy area for
picnics and swings and slides for the kids. Sailboat and kayak rentals are
available. Nearby is the Channel Islands National Park as well as Island Packer Cruises to the outer
islands and whale watching tours, snorkling and scuba diving. Ventura Harbor is filled with shops
and restaurants---all within a bikes ride from Camden Lane.
Santa Barbara is an hour away as well as the beach towns of Carpenteria and Summerland. Ojai, a
famed artists retreat has two four star spas, several fine restaurants, over thirty-three art
galleries,two golf courses, tennis, camping and hiking in the Topa Topa mountains.
Upon arrival, guests can browse through a binder on tips and recommendations from previous guests
and the owners.

Refundable Damage and Loss Deposit $500
Departure cleaning $150, mandatory, non-refundable.
Maid Service is available on request at your expense. Yard Service Provided.
Bring your own linens or rental service can be referred.

Check-in: Friday at 3pm
Check-out: Friday at 11:00am.
A 50% booking deposit will hold the rental, with remainder due 30 days prior to arrival. A $500
refundable security deposit is required 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy: 60 days prior to arrival full refund. Less than 60 days, refund dependent on proceeds from re-rental.
