Quiet, contemporary Studio built to look like an old shingle barn, set on the shore where St. George
River joins the sea on Stones Point at the end of a dirt, dead end road. Lovely view out to Burnt
Island and Monhegan. Convenient and beautiful holiday house for a couple or small family. Large, one
and a half story family room with sitting and dining areas, and queen size sofa bed. Two bedrooms--one
with double bed and other a loft style room suitable for a child. One full bathroom and fully equipped
kitchen with dishwasher. Fully furnished with all linens and kitchen equipment. One and one half hours
drive north from Portland Airport.
Electric heat in all rooms with modern wood stove in main room. Shared washer/dryer in nearby house on
same property. Tennis court, dock, float, guest mooring and row boats, shared by Studio and two other
houses on property. Parker motorboat usually available to rent separately. Studio shares twelve acres
of meadow and shore frontage with other rental house and property owner. Lobsters delivered to private
dock upon request.
Tennis, row boating in Maple Juice Cove on opposite side of property. Good area for sailing, kayaking,
or canoeing. Fifteen minutes by boat to Port Clyde. Twenty minutes to Rockland museums, shops, movie
theatres, and fine restaurants. Hiking in nearby Camden Hills. Several small grocery store nearby and
two large supermarkets in Rockland.
July and August: $1,200 per week
May, June, September, and October: $720 per week
