Just be prepared to enter her threshold and be greeted with the impressive array of perks she has to
offer. Snuggle up to the warmth of a roaring fireplace during the winter months, or turn on the air
conditioning in the summer; and for those who want to reconnect with nature at anytime, open her
windows and be engulfed in her mountain breeze. Along with a large flat screen TV and DVD, your
entrance into her world of pine cones will surprise you. The living room view overlooks a
picturesque mountain top landscape along with 20 foot yellow pine ceilings and hardwood floors.
Don’t be surprised when you turn and look upon her masterpiece of a kitchen. She will tempt you
with all of her amenities, but the porch grill and picnic table are available for all those barbeque
lovers. She takes pride in comforting you in her private master suite with a plush king size bed.
Plan on soaking in her large garden tub or opt to use her earth-tone shower stall. Also, residing
on the main floor are the washer and dryer plus a half bath.
Now go ahead and surprise yourself by exploring the loft area. That’s where you’ll find a large
couch, coffee table, desk with high speed internet connection, two bedrooms, and a full bath. Take
a peek in the children’s room to see the lovable bears that reside on the bunk beds. Story time
isn’t far with all of the Golden Books to choose from that adorn the boat bookshelves. Across the
way you’ll find another large bedroom which offers a cozy queen size bed for many restful nights’
sleep.
Beneath the main floor, you’ll find the two car garage and the family rec room, which also has
wonderful views, a pull-out-queen size couch, flat screen TV/DVD, a bar area, with a built in
refrigerator, plus another full bath. While you’re there, go ahead and relax by playing
chess/checkers on the game table or select among numerous board games that are available. Have a
look through the many DVD’s that are offered for your viewing. The Heart of the Smoky has been
carefully planned to sleep, comfortably, 6 – 8 people. She also has a queen size blow-up mattress
to accommodate any extra surprise guests.

the Blue Ridge Parkway or scaling the Great Smoky Mountains. You can hit Cataloochee’s ski slopes
during the winter or go horseback riding during the summer. Golf is available from numerous public
courses within in a few miles of the cabin. Plan on getting your rod and reel out to fish or plan a
picnic. For those who want to relax a little, take a short drive to the Biltmore Estate, search the
Cherokee Indian Reservation, or just hold hands and take an evening stroll around Lake Junaluska.
