Summer, Fall, Spring or Ski Season, our Amazing Slopeside Location has beautiful views and an array of outdoor activities! Our Fully Upgraded Corner Unit by the waterfall at Purgatory offers 2 stories of Stunning Mountain Vistas, Beautiful Decor, & Woodburning Fireplace! We sleep up to 8 guests in our 1277 Sq ft, 2.5 bedroom, 2 bath luxurious unit. The downstairs level is the bedrooms, including a patio with seating for 4 off the master. The upstairs floor is the living area, featuring a deck with BBQ and dining.  Durango Mountain Club Privilidges to the Heated Outdoor Pool, Hot tub & Fitness center, Tennis, Wi Fi, Designated Parking, Dish TV, Washer and Dryer & Firewood are all Included in our Rates for a Deluxe property!

In summer the mountain is in full swing; the lifts at purgatory are running for biking and pic-nicking and hiking, children can enjoy mountain day "PACK" camp, the alpine slide, bungee jump, panning for gold and more. The family can fly fish in one of several creeks or lakes within 15 minutes drive. There is also an awesome hiking trail, just across the street with parking by the lake. Enjoy Historic Downtown Durango activities, then take in the beautiful and easy 30 minute drive up the mountain where it can be 15 degrees cooler in the daytime and even more refreshing at night! Spring and Fall on the Mountain is quiet, a great time to get low rates and enjoy wonderul temperatures and views without crowds. The fall color is amazing and in full view from our living room and master bedroom! In ski season, enjoy the expanded expert terrain, wonderful teachers at the ski school, and a family friendly environment. The village shops and restaurants are open in summer and winter and the members pool (with beautiful mountain views and a fun waterslide), hot tub and Fitness center remain open year-round. There is also a small market, 5 minutes south of the resort open year-round.

Located at the Durango Mountain Ski Resort; our East Rim ski condo is a short 2-3 Minute stroll in ski boots to the 6-Pack Lift. With Just 8 units in a building, an exterior entrance and surrounding Pines and Waterfall, enjoy a prime location that also feels tranquil. Our building is across from the lodge (a 30 second walk from our door to the lodge reception entrance) and the lifts are a 30 second walk out the back side of the lodge. The little village is less than a minute walk to our right. Our 2 stories face the Needles Mountains with views unobstructed by buildings!

Our luxurious interior is designed for those who appreciate the style and ambiance of their lodging as much as the unsurpassable beauty of the surrounding mountains. We have strived to provide our guests with a romantic and warm family experience in our condo through; stylish furnishings, warm art, plush bedding, rich colors, hardwood floors and attention to details. To further enhance quality time we have just remodeled the large downstairs bath with floor to ceiling travertine and a 2 person jacuzzi tub...Relax away!

Bedrooms: (Sleeps 2-8 guests in 2.5 bedrooms + Upstairs Sleeper sofa: 2 Private Queen Bedrooms downstairs, 1 bunk alcove with seperate door downstairs + 1 Queen sleeper sofa upstairs), Watch the sunrise over the Needles mountains while snuggled in the in the master bed on a Sterns & Foster Estate mattress. The room features a floor to ceiling window and glass door and its own patio. The 2nd bedroom is beautifully decorated with a tropical ambiance, plush bedding and a flat screen tv. The bunk alcove is 10' by 8' with a pine view window, perfect for children. Additional guests have a queen sleeper-sofa near the fireplace and in front of the gorgeous mountain views.

Dining & Kitchen: A kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances & slate floor - even a cappuccino maker and gourmet cookware add enjoyment to meal preparation. An elegant, tall dining table seats 8.  There is also a 2nd table seating 4 next to the bbq on the patio for enjoying the aroma of the fresh pines and the peaceful mountain views.

Bathrooms: We have 2 bathrooms, 1 upstairs with a tub/shower and 1
downstairs with a tub/shower. The downstairs has travertine walls with a large 2 person jacuzzi tub and spa-like ambiance.

Ski, bike, hike, walk, enjoy coffee and dining in the village. Snow
tubing, ski mobile tours, Kids bungee jump, minature golf, mountain
slide, rock wall and gold panning activity packages available in
village. Stroll 30 seconds to the members only heated pool for family
fun, get in a leg workout in the fitness center, or enjoy a massage
in the spa. We are a beautiful 30 Minute drive from Historic Durango,
where ample dining opportunities await (2nd per capita dining only to
San Francisco)and the The Durango-Silverton Train. Opportunies for
river-rafting, sight-seeing, art galleries, fine-dining, antique
shops and much more abound in Down-town Durango and in near-by
Silverton and Ouray historic towns. "Music in the Mountains" is not
to be missed, and presents roving concerts every July-August 22 with
several venues preforming at the resort, and can be heard from the
balconies! Fall also offers hunting opportunities, a brew-fest and special "Peanuts" train events for kids. Check the Durango Org calendar for a posting of events year-round! Also look at the durango Recreation center site under childrens activities for art classes and more.
