Jeffers Tree Farm Houses and Cabins in Burr Oak

Jeffers Tree Farm offers several cabins and houses in the beautiful
Appalacian Ohio countryside.
The Hoffman House is a big old rambling farmhouse, updated edition.
It's out in the country, right off of Ohio Scenic State Route 555, on
600 acres which you are free to roam. Miles of trails outside the
door, eight catch and release fishing ponds (good for summer swimming
too), all stocked with bass, sunfish, blue gill and all with fishing
docks, splendid deer and turkey hunting in season (ask about rates for
hunting), beautiful views from every room in the house, in every
season. It's within a half hour's scenic drive from Athens, 45
minutes to Marietta, and 2 hours from Columbus. Many guests have told
us that it's a very comfortable place to spend a week, or even a long

The Spurrier Ridge lodge sleeps up to 13 with its 4 bedrooms and 8
beds. Big Kitchen/dining room; living room, laundry room, big porch.
It is more remote than Hoffman House -- off a gravel road, at
4077 Harold Jeffers Lane, Chesterhill 43728. Just as comfortable and
beautiful, in the midst of 1,400 acres of private forest.
The Cabin in the Woods is for folks who want the Ohio Pioneer
experience. The cabin is reconstructed from poplar logs used in a
cabin built in the 1830s. It has its own fishing pond. Running water
for cooking, outhouse for the necessities. Gas oven and range,
woodstove for heat, unlimited firewood.

43728. Like all Jeffers Tree Farm properties, it is remote and private.

Rates are between $70 and $165.00 per night, 2 night minimum; 4 guests
assumed.
$20.00 per person, per stay for each guest in addition to 4.
No more than two well behaved and house broken dogs are welcome, at a
pet charge of $25.00 per stay per dog.
