Poinsettia House in St Lucia

This comfortable home sits on the north hillside of Marigot Bay with a spectactular panoramic view
of the harbor. Nothing to our west except for conservation land and the sea -- lots of privacy! The
front of the house is a long open room with full kitchen, two sitting areas, and a dining area. Off
the western side of the house, there is a partially covered outside deck for enjoying the view of
boats coming and going. Each large bedroom has a king size bed, fan overhead, large closets for
storage. Ensuite bathrooms have tiled showers. Outside there are fruit trees and lots of flowering
shrubs in our gardens.

The kitchen is equpped with everything you need to make a large or small meal including gas
range/oven, large refrigerator, and dishwasher --- coffee maker, toaster, blender -- even
cookbooks! In the living areas, there are comfortable chairs and couches for relaxing or playing
one of the board games you'll find in the house. The bookshelves are well stocked also if reading
is your passion. Radio/CD player plus a celection of CDs. Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom.
The linens,including beach towels are high quality. Wireless internet is available. We pay
attention to details and you will find Poinsettia a superior choice for your holiday.
Within a short walk (2-5 minutes) you reach the beach, six restaurants/bars, grocery, bakery, small
bank with ATM, dive shop, watersports rentals, gift shops, spa.

Of course, swimming is one of the favorite activities for all visitors. And you can swim,
snorkel,and sail in the bay. A watersports kiosk rents small saiboats, kayaks, wind surfers etc.
Hike to the top of the hill behind the house for wonderful views. Have a boat and guide pick you up
at the docks and hike the Pitons. Or drive to the rain forest for a hike there. View the
rainforest with the zip line tour company. Take a water taxi to one of the other beaches along the
coast. Go out on one of the island boats and try your hand at fishing. A trip to the outdoor market
in Castries is a must! And while there, shop at the duty free stores on the harbor. Take a
sailboat trip down the coast for the day. And a taxi tour to the Pitons, volcano and sulpher
springs. Or if it suits you, do nothing more than stretch out on one of our couches and read a great
book!
