Wonderful River View Cabin

We loved everything about this new, beautiful cabin. The kitchen is large and well laid out. The living room has soaring ceilings and lots of high windows with gorgeous views of the river. I'm puzzled about the previous reviewer's complaint of the furniture...The cabin description gives bed sizes so we knew what to expect...queens, double and twins. The living room was nicely furnished with comfortable large chairs and couch. We didn't mind the small t.v., we don't go to the mountains to watch t.v. We enjoyed cocktails and dinners on the wonderful deck. The entire cabin is beautifully redone, well designed and very clean. We also enjoyed swimming, hiking and picnics at beautiful Pinecrest Lake. The rental process with Darlene was easy and efficient. Nice not to have to stop to pick up a key. The location of the cabin couldn't be better with the sounds of the river so close, the smell of the trees and fresh air...Wish I was still there.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Best Cabin Ever

Best cabin we have ever stayed in the river is right there you can see it from all the windows and here it in every room. it's beautifully furnished we enjoyed every aspect of the cabin. it was so clean so well presented and suited all our needs. we could have never imagined a better place to get away. We will be back over and over again.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Great Cabin

Have not had a chance to drop you a note since we retruned from the cabin but wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed it. We have been renting a cabin every summer at Pinecrest for the past 40 years and it was unanimous that this was "the best cabin we ever stayed in". :) My 81 year old Dad coninued to remark all week about the details of the cabin, from the decorations to the supply of movies. " They thought of everything" he said. The kids loved the location and the adults loved the decks and how clean the cabin was on our arrival. Thanks again, we had a fantastic time and are definitely interested in this cabin again next year!
