Resort Quick Synopsis: Terrific beach, outstanding pool.  Premium resort outdoor furnishings including beach loungers, and excellent quality poolside loungers, tables, chairs.  I go to Cancun regularly as renting and managing vacation rentals in Cancun is my full time profession.  In my opinion, this is the nicest condo resort in Cancun.  It happens to be the biggest as well.  It's all glass, new (completed in 2008), very upscale, and is within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping and even Cancun's world famous night clubs.convenience store, gym, tennis, spa.

Resort Features:  Gym, tennis, spa with nice hot tub and massage services.  There is also a convenience store right out in front of the resort.

Contact Person Quick Synopsis:  Hi, I'm Tim Miller.  I own & operate a small niche management company specializing in nice vacation rentals on the beach in Cancun Mexico.  I would say my knowledge base of Cancun & the hotel zone is very solid.  I own vacation rental property in Cancun, I have worked in Cancun, and I take a strong personal interest in each & every unit I manage in Cancun.  Almost every picture you see of any one of the rentals or at any one of the resorts was taken by myself personally.  I believe that I offer some services & items that currently keep us a head of our competition.  These things may appear small on the surface, but I would offer for your consideration the thought that excellence can often be found in the details.  For example, if you are traveling with small children, you will find a packnplay (play-pen & sleeper), a high chair & a quality stroller on hand.  Or, if you would like to enjoy your favorite drinks down by the pool or beach we welcome you to use the special cooler you will find in any of our units.  It is on wheels, super easy to take with you and is also very handy as a pool or beachside table.  The convenience might only be outshined by the savings on drinks!  This item has been pre-approved for use by the resort, when you are staying at one of our vacation rentals. 

Cancun side service:  Lastly, it's important to know you are in good hands once you arrive to Cancun.  Being a small company, I work with a small, tight knit group of terrific people in Cancun that are there for you, our guests.  I can arrange for a trip to the Super Walmart grocery store early on in your stay if you like, which saves you money.  (there are no grocery stores in the hotel zone-only convenience stores).  The cost for this service is $40 & is paid directly to whomever takes you shopping. Everyone in our  group in Cancun speaks terrific English and are among the nicest people I have ever known.  If you have a need for babysitting services? If so, we can help.  Would you like some real Mexican culture?  I can arrange to send a professional chef to cook & clean up for you, & at very reasonable prices. Or, maybe you would like to go snorkeling or fishing.  One of our managers in Cancun is a dear friend of mine.  His family comes from many generations of fisherman.  Now, he offers both snorkeling and fishing services.  The tours are private.  His boat holds up to 14, and is shaded.  He can take you to special areas that the tour operators don't go.  I have been out on Mike's boat several times & I highly recommend this experience.  If you have 6 or more, the cost is $55 per person cash.  The tour is about 5 or 6 hours and it includes lunch on a small island he takes you to.

Most commonly questions:  Should we rent a car?  You don't need to.  Cabs and busses run 24/7 & are quick & easy access from the resort.  If you prefer a rental car, parking is available.  Please see our site for a link to the lowest Cancun rental car rates we have been able to find.

Unlike other 5BR condos here at Porto Fino, this unit was modified after the original construction.  This modification opened up the kitchen to the exceptional views of this amazing space.  Additionally, this allowed for the installation of a brand new kitchen bar area with flat screen TV.  No other unit in Porto Fino is quite like #1604 at Porto Fino.  Additionally, dozens of tasteful recessed lights were added with dimmer capability to set the mood for any occassion.  The finishing touches can be seen in the beautiful furnishings and decor.

The 5BR units here (4 main bedrooms-5th bedroom is maids quarters converted to 5th bedroom & bath) at Porto Fino run from the ocean side all the way to the front of the building on the bay side.  The more elevated units such as this one offer truly outstanding views from either the ocean side or the bay as the pictures show.  Note:  Building 5 MIL offers typically offers better views from the corner units than does the other tower (6 MIL).  This is because building 5 MIL is situated substantially closer to the ocean and there is therefore no obstruction of the view looking North, especially on the higher level units.

Some of these units, as is the case with this unit, #1604, also have a jaccuzzi right out on the terrace.  This one is located off of one of the king bedrooms that faces the ocean.

You access the main terrace from either the living room, or either of the two king bedrooms.  There are several loungers, chairs, love seats and lounge tables out on the main terrace.  The views from the main terrace are both straight out to the Caribbean and North up the Cancun Hotel Zone coastline.

The private beach here is terrific!  No rocks, just nice soft white Cancun.  There are umbrellas and comfortable chairs available for guests.  And there are special outdoor beds with canopies as well.  Get down to the beach early to grab one of these.  They go quickly!

The pool is also exception.  It's a stylish infinity pool.  You can go out to the edge and relax in waters just deep enough to surround your body while lying down and relaxing.

The tables, umbrellas and furnishings down by the pool are also top notch, staying consistant with the resorts upscale quality.

Finally, don't forget to take down to the pool or beach with you the special cooler we have for our guests.  It's the best cooler you can find.  It's good size.  Yet easy to transport as it pulls behind you like a piece of luggage, gliding on the wheels.  It has pockets for all those knick knacks that you never have enough hands for.  And the top has recessed drink holders and so it works well as a small table between a couple of lounge chairs.  Please make sure you use plastic cups as glass drinkware is not allowed by the pool or beach.

not need to rent a car. Busses run 24/7 and can take you anywhere in the Hotel Zone for .75 cents a
person. The busses are basically non stop so you are never waiting around. If you prefer a taxi,
