You will not find another rental property on Lake Lure Like this one! This fabulous **new
construction lakefront home*** on Lake Lure was strategically designed for
maximum views of the lake, mountains, and Chimney Rock from every room. Newly constructed, the
arts and crafts style The interior design boasts beautiful finish work, hardwood floors and vaulted
ceilings with exposed beams.
** The main floor master suite has king size bed and 36 inch plasma TV. Master bath has a large
tiled bath with jet tub, remote controlled blinds, tiled shower, double sinks, and large walk-in
closet. Right next to the master is a private sitting room that can double as a perfect spot for a
crib for families with an infant. It also has a desk and computer.
** The main floor living room has a gas fireplace, 50 inch plasma with digial cable box, TV, DVD,
and X-box. This room has leather top of the line furnishings, wet bar and wine cooler large windows
and a deck with views of Hickory Nut Gorge and Chimney rock. Gourmet kitchen with granite
countertops and 42-inch plasma and half bath.
** There is an oversized Double Garage that you can actually fit two SUV’s into (we have done it)
and a paved drive with plenty of parking space.
** Downstairs has 5 rooms to sleep in two with a connecting bath and queen beds, one extra large
room with 3 sets of twin bunk beds and a private 1+1/2 bath. It has a door to the outside lower
patio so little ones can go directly in and shower or other business (and they have no excuse to
grab five juice boxes and a bag of Oreos! (Now do you believe I have kids?) There is also a queen
size bed with a mosquito netting canopy in the playroom which kids love. All rooms have lake views
and direct access to decks. There is also separate room that has a sleeper sofa and TV with DVD.
** Downstairs also has a large family room with a new pool table, a pub style table and stools gas
fireplace, plasma TV with DVD. There is a second wet bar or kitchenette on this level with small
under cabinet refrigerator.
** Also, a hugh kids fantasy play room with Air hockey, ping-pong, Basketball and other game
machines and a large double glass door to the outside porch.
** Sandy Beach on Lakefront for swimming
** Boathouse with roof top deck, swim platform,one enclose boat slip and one open. Boats are
available for special rental rate through Venture sports.
** Also, this property comes with a full service concierge service. Lake Lure Cabin Concierge.
** We have two children, an 8 year old boy and 10 year old girl, and have set up the property for
kids to have a blast and also to allow the parents to relax by separating the adult and kid areas.
** Our biggest request is that you treat the property like it is your own.

Once you decide to leave the house (and many do not). Activities are numerous. There are
water sports on Lake Lure and French Broad River include boating, kayaking, water-skiing, tubing,
and fishing. Hike chimney rock mountain (10-15 minutes away) and many other trails including the
famous trail to hickory nut water-falls where the movie Last of the mohicans was filmed. Numerous
golf courses are in the area and a temporary pass to the country club with golf, tennis, swimming
pool with a lazy river and paddleboat, kayaks, and pontoon boats are available to rent. Take a
guided sunset tour of the lake. Fly-fishing on the French Broad and Davidson rivers is close by as
well. Great shopping and nightlife are 30 minutes away in Asheville, NC.
After the activities view the sunset over the lake and mountains as it settles into the Hickory
Nut Gorge from your own rental home. Personally my kids and I like to sit outside in the back yard
right at dusk and watch for fire flies. It was a first time experience for them this summer. The
property is extremely quiet and peaceful and I have never seen so many stars in the sky. I hope you
enjoy thehome as much as we do.

* Depending on demand, 1-2 night stays may be accepted, usually on short notice.
** Deposit -- because our property is so new, superbly furnished, and will accommodate such a large
number we require a $3000.00 deposit per reservation typically, but negotiable depending on number
of people in party, whether you have rented from us previously, or if you can provide references
from people you have rented previously. Once you see the place you will understand why.
** Full payment of rent is due 30 days prior to arrival date. Currently, this is only possible with
check or money order. We are working on accepting Visa/MC.
** Check-in time is no earlier than 4 PM. Checkout time is 11 AM. This time differential is
required for our housekeepers to clean, change linens, and prepare the home for your visit.
Pets are negotiable with additional deposit.
* all holidays including Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are at High Season
Rates.
* Cleaning fee of $150 provides all linens, towels and paper products.
* Last minute reservations are negotiable and partial week during peak season possible
* Changeover day is Saturday for weekly rentals
* We rent to family units and couples only. You must be 25 years of
age to sign the rental agreement.
** This is a non-smoking house! Smoking is allowed outside but obviously not right next to an open
door or window. An additional cleaning fee of
$300.00 minimum will apply if there is evidence of smoking in the house, possibly more if necessary.
* Only one renter may sign the rental agreement, and
that individual is responsible for the condition of the
house.
Reservations and Deposits:
* The required Damage Deposit of $3000.00 and rental agreement will serve as your
Reservation Guarantee. The deposit will be returned within 30 days, of your departure assuming no
damage has been inflicted on the home. I hope that it will be even sooner if there is no damage.
The house is checked
before and after each visit, an inventory taken, and photos taken to ensure you are not falsely
accused of damage.
* Once the deposit check and rental agreement is received the time will be reserved. A
tentative reservation will be made on the calendar until then, once verbal or e-mail confirmation
is obtained. The Rental agreement can be e-mailed to you per request. Payment of the full rent
amount should be received 30 days prior or you can send both at once and save a stamp. If the rent
check is not received before then, I will attempt to contact you to see if the "checks in the
mail". If I cannot reach you, I will assume you have decided to go to Hawaii instead.
**Cancellation:
If you cancel at least 30 days prior to the arrival date your deposit will be
returned minus a reservation fee of $100.00. I highly recommend the purchase of Trip Interruption
Insurance, which covers many reasons for canceling. You can find insuremytrip and other vacation
insurance providers on the internet.
For later cancellations, the deposit will be refunded only if the home is re-rented for the same
time period. This is very likely in the peak season and Holidays. If the home is not re-rented, no
refund will be given. Bummer! should have gotten that insurance!
* once a reservation is confirmed:
The concierge and management team will make contact and meet you upon your arrival to
provide you with keys, information and instructions about various
aspects or operations of the house. To ensure the accommodations run smoothly, the
concierge staff will be available for guests 9am – 5pm, Monday – Sunday for reservations, check-
ins/check-outs, key distribution, check-in tours, information about the surrounding area, and to
answer any questions regarding guests’ stay at your property and in Lake Lure. All Linens are
provided, as well as paper products.
* the property has telephone with free local calls and unlimited long distance in the continental
US.
* High speed wireless Internet is also provided at no charge. This is a secured network and the
concierge can provide the password.
** Unfortunately we are required to add State Sales Tax of 6.75% and a Rutherford County Occupancy
Tax of 5% to the rates above. The two taxes total 11.75% Wow! That’s a lot! Fortunately if you are
like us, you will want to cook, grill, or order in most nights and watch the sunset while the kids
run around downstairs, so you will save more than this just on not having to pay for an overpriced
bottle of wine at a restaurant or
meals half eaten by the kids.
