hardwoods sits Green Cove, a gorgeous four bedroom, four bath home with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Although private by design, the
home is within walking distance to the tennis courts and indoor pool.

The Great Room with very high ceilings, stone gas-log fireplace, and
over sized windows and sliding glass doors can easily accommodate your
entire "gang." The galley Kitchen with hickory cabinets, granite
counter tops, and eat-at bar is open to the Great Room. This open
design allows all of your guests to be a part of the fun and festivities.

Two of the four bedrooms, including the Master suite, are located on
the main floor. The remaining two bedrooms are on the lower level. Two
of the four bedrooms have their own private baths--the other two
bedrooms have access to full baths located just across the hallways.
Families can spread out and enjoy the Family Room on the lower level
complete with a second TV. Two living areas are great--groups seldom
share the same tastes in TV.

Green Cove is conveniently located between the towns of Boone and
Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Boone is the home of Appalachian State
University and boasts exotic restaurants, fun boutiques, art
galleries, antique malls, and year-round cultural activities. Just
minutes away is the historic Village of Blowing Rock and the Blue
Ridge Parkway with its miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, camp
grounds, fishing lakes, and scenic vistas. Nearby local attractions
include Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, the Blowing Rock,
Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, public golf courses, and four ski
resorts.

Rates vary according to the season and do include a departure
cleaning. Green Cove is available for nightly, weekly, or monthly
rentals. Pets may be permitted with advance notice and a $150 nonrefundable pet fee.  This is a non-smoking home.  Nightly rates range from $399 to $599 per night. Rates are reduced for stays of three or more nights. Weekly and monthly discounts are also available.
