Modern 2BR Condo with Views! in Seattle

A Definite Must!!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this modern, well-kept condo. From the moment we walked in the door and saw the breathtaking view - we were smitten! The accoutrements throughout the condo left us wanting for nothing - from the electronics (including a computer!) to the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and the compact washer and dryer - we had found the perfect home away from home. The owners thought of everything - from the oversize shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom to the iron which was "to die for" in the words of our twenty-something daughter. And, of course..... a corkscrew when we needed one!

We could go on and on - and will. The location was prime for those without a vehicle. We drove to Seattle but turned in our rental car upon arrival in the hopes of taking advantage of public transportation. Most of the time we ended up walking and found it perfectly doable. One day we couldn't seem to time the buses right and ended up walking to Pioneer Square for the underground tour and then hoofed it to Chinatown. After eating and then spending hours in a wonderful store in Chinatown we ended up walking all the way back to "our" Belltown condo. Our teenage daughters never uttered a complaint and several of them (including myself) were not wearing shoes exactly made for walking long distances.

There were not enough days to try all the wonderful restaurants that surrounded us - though we tried! The Lucky Diner a few blocks north of the condo had just opened and we went there twice. The 2nd time was to reward ourselves with chocolate shakes after our excursion to and from Chinatown! Also, the food market right on the corner was a must for those much needed snacks. We enjoyed the repartee with the young man who was always at the cash register.

Oh, almost forgot....the exercise room, pool, hot tub and sauna great in and of themselves. We did try them out and did not find them lacking.

We hope to return to Seattle and there is no doubt about where we will stay. Thank you, thank you for making our trip such a memorable one!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
