Vacation Rental Description

Unique island style home in private setting with views from all sides. Uninhabited island across bay  
provides exclusive privacy for fun in nature. Located on private gravel road beside old fishing  
shack. Peaceful retreat that feels like Costa Rica or the islands, but for alot less. Charleston  
style entrance and courtyard w/ fenced area and brick patio on side of house. Hammock area beside  
dock at the edge of the water.  Great winter time location as well.....warm by the fire after a soak  
in rooftop hot tub, bonfire oyster/clam roasts(can harvest these right out front) Fisherman get  
ready because you can catch spots, flounder,blues and more here.  New Year's Eve....special events  
with fireworks and ball drop ceremony at beach or downtown historic Wilmington by the Cape Fear  
river. First week in October, come to Wilmington Riverfest!!Go to Wilmington Festivals online, then  
go to Wilmington attractions.....activities/phone numbers,dates,etc.

Vacation Rental Amenities

New artesian spa on upper deck, 2 outside showers- one in courtyard on ground level and one by spa  
on upper deck, all new appliances and furnishings, 47"widescreen TV /DVD in living room, another 47"  
widescreen in bedroom...(temperpedic king size bed in master, queen, double and futon)can sleep 6-8,  
fully equipped for fun and relaxation. Lots of outdoor living spaces with comfortable furniture,  
grill and outdoor fireplace by spa. Four kayaks, two bicycles, floats, clam rakes, 2 fishing poles,  
large area for horseshoes, frisbee and much more for seaside adventure. Suggest bring water shoes  
for playing in and around coastal areas!!Winter time...hunters/golfers/fisherman enjoy

Golf courses.Plus,if you own a 4-wheel drive vehicle we have one of the few places that will allow  
you to drive out onto the beach!! Winter activities too!! This place is awesome for Halloween-- 
bonfire/oyster roast by water (spooky/mysterious with spanish moss in trees) Some say they've  
spotted civil war ghosts along shores...Special haunted historic homes tours, Poplar Grove Historic  
Plantation, candlelight Christmas tours/carriage rides with caroling and hot cocoa, Christmas tree  
festival, Christmas floatilla -boats decorated and lots of festive parties --first two weekends in  
Dec.
