Peaceful Mountain Getaway in Santa Barbara

Quiet Country Cottage nestled in the mountains along the Santa Ynez River Valley with secluded patio. Located just 20 minutes north of Santa Barbara and 25 minutes south of scenic Solvang and its surrounding wineries.

Charming two bedroom, two bath cabin close to nature trails, swimming holes, the romantic Cold Spring Tavern, Cachuma Lake, golf courses, birdwatching, and fishing.

For larger groups, two additional bedrooms that sleep up to four people are available in a detached cottage for an additional $45 to $65 per night/ $300 to $400 per week.  Additional building has 1/2 bathroom. Not available separately for rent.

Fully-equipped Kitchen, Wood-Burning Fireplace, Air Conditioning, Large secluded Patio with Adirondack chairs and Hammock, Gas Barbecue, 27-inch TV with VHS and DVD players (no satellite hookup), extensive DVD collection, CD Player, Board Games, Master Bedroom with Queen-size Bed, Guest Bedroom with two Twin-size beds, Dining Area, Living room with View, Washer, Dryer.  Beds have fresh linens and both bathrooms have clean towels for your use.  Living room has a pull-out couch that can sleep two (for added privacy, please consider renting detached cottage described above).

Sit out on the patio to enjoy the peace and panoramic view. Count the different birds you'll see, including the wild turkeys that sometimes come by. If you're lucky you'll even see the occasional deer or fox.  Challenge each other to a game of Scrabble, or play horseshoes.  Take a 15 minute walk down to the river or pack a picnic and go on other nearby hikes or swim in one of the numerous swimming holes in summer.  You will be awed by the brilliant array of stars in the night sky any time of year.  This is a great place for a romantic getaway, family vacation or a place for old friends to come relax together, have fun, and just get away from it all!

Rates:  THREE NIGHT MINIMUM - $165 per night for first 3 nights/ $135 per night for next 3 nights/ $100 per night day 7 and after.  In addition, there is a 10% Santa Barbara County Transitory Occupancy Tax.

Stays over Major Holidays, Thanksgiving or Christmas/New Years:  FOUR NIGHT MINIMUM. Please inquire about rate.                             

Cleaning Fee: Included.

Security Deposit:  $300 for first time renters - must be received within 4 days of booking. This is fully refundable within two weeks after departure if no damage or loss is incurred.

Payment of rent:  Full payment of rent is required 30 days prior to arrival date or within 4 days of booking if less than 30 days to arrival date.

Notice of Cancellation:  If cancellation notice is received 21 to 15 days prior to arrival date, a $100 Cancellation Fee will be applied; if received 14 to 8 days prior to arrival date, a $200 Cancellation Fee will be applied; if received one week or less prior to arrival date, a $300 Cancellation Fee will be applied.
