Vacation Rental Amenities

Club House includes a 25' x 50' heated swimming pool. The pool has a 
1500 sq. ft. deck with lounge chairs and a beautiful view of one of 
the lakes. We have four shuffleboard courts with an active committee 
for team competition. A 60' x 100' clubhouse (Tanner Hall) with a 
kitchen, two rest rooms, a billiards room, and a lending library - 
fully stocked with magazines, books, audio and video cassettes. A 
Social Club with committees to plan events, our own TV Channel 33 with 
all pertinent information available twenty-four hours a day.

Activities and Attractions

Port Charlotte Village is unique with its winding tree lined streets 
and cul-de-sacs with many areas having benches for your convenience. 
Every home is attractively landscaped, giving the impression that 
every home is a model. On the left at the front entrance is a 
landscaped park with a gazebo and benches, a quiet resting place. This 
lovely area was made possible by donations from residents and friends 
of Port Charlotte Village.Thursday evenings the Happy Villagers Choral 
Group have their practice session and present programs in community 
along with programs at various rest homes, schools, etc. 
 
    We have an active group of men and women golf leagues, open to all 
who love to play golf. There are many nearby golf courses for their 
pleasure. Also, there is Monday bowling for those who just like to 
bowl for fun. 
 
    Coffee hour every Wednesday morning. 
 
    Other activities include line dancing classes, pool sharks club, 
card parties, euchre club, shuffleboard tournaments, bingo on Tuesday 
night, chat and sew, garden club, mah-jong, Chinese Bunka art, pot 
lucks, 50th wedding anniversary parties, Friends of PCV (Singles 
Club), fashion shows, pancake breakfasts, dances and floor shows. 
 
    If all else fails, you are only minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, 
where you can just sit and sun bathe, swim, fish or collect shells.
