Vacation Rental Description

This motorboat lake front log cabin home is located on 3 private 
acres in the Pocono Mountains. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 full size 
bathrooms (Mater BR bath has Jacuzzi), the master bedroom has a king 
size bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom 
has a day 
bed (can be used as 2 twin beds or a full size bed). The large loft 
has a full size sofa bed, a large screen cable television, DVD 
player, VCR,board games and a Stereo. The living room has a stone 
wood burning fireplace and an excellent view of the lake. This log 
cabin has a washer/dryer, fully equiped kitchen, pots, pans, silver 
ware, dishwasher, a phone with free local calls, 3 television sets, 
coffee maker, microwave, toaster, cable internet hookup in MBR for 
your laptop, fire wood for the fire place or the outdoor fire pit. 
Step outside onto the 3/4 wrap around deck, complete with gas BBQ 
grill and picnic table, which overlooks the lake. Lake Henry is 
approximately 375 acres and a motorboat lake with excellent fishing; 
this house is located directly across from a state wildlife 
preserve.  This rustic log cabin offers beautiful sunsets 
from your deck and a wide array of local wildlife that come and feed 
on the property.

It is located 15 miles from Lake Wallenpaupak, 20 minutes from 
Hawley, a few minutes from Hamlin, 20 minutes from Scranton which 
has lots of shopping & resturants, 30 minutes from Pocono Downs 
Racetrack & the casino and 20-45 minutes from 3 major ski resorts, 
indoor all year round water park and other attractions. We are about 
2 hours from New York City and Philadelphia.

Activities and Attractions

Excellent for all season rentals. From your dock or livingroom there 
are excellent sunset views, fall foliage views, winter ice fishing 
skating/snow mobiling (conditions permitting),a sledding hill on the 
property, in the spring you can see the baby deer, beavers, otters, 
duck and turtles come out.  Short walk to hunting grounds.  Short 
drive to golf, skiing, parks, go-carts, horseback riding, boat 
rentals, zoo, snowmobiles, museums,paint ball, train rides,shopping, 
restaurants, groceries, indoor fun center with batting cage, lazer 
tag, bowling, and more.
