Our beautiful villa/family home called 'Shabreeze' is 3311sq ft of stunning luxury. Set in a tranquil woodland location, if you are wanting luxurious executive accommodation along with that 'away from the crowds' feeling - you've found it! Your nearest neighbour is quite literally 'nature'. It has it's own secluded south-facing solar heated pool and spa that gets the sun all day long, set in a spacious fully caged pool deck/lanai area. The villa is maintained, furnished and equipped to the highest of standards and includes well equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms (2 are Master en-suites), optional 5th bedroom in Den/Study room, 4 bathrooms, 3 separate dining areas, and a large living room that looks out onto the pool deck. You also get full use of our beast of a 4 burner gas BBQ/grill, and free high-speed wi-fi internet access! The villa is very close to fantastic powder white sand beaches of the Gulf coast,restaurants, shops, golf courses, all within 15 minutes. "Search no further.  The pictures do not do this rental property justice.  It is a beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean home. Kevin, the home owner, is extremely trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.  He has paid much attention to detail in his home, and it was indeed a pleasure to vacation in this house this past June.  I wish I could have packaged it up and shipped it back to PA.  The layout was perfect for our family of 4 teenage girls. Everyone had their own space, and every door led to the beautiful, enclosed pool and spa area. Even though we hated to leave the house, we did venture out a lot to the many fabulous surrounding beaches....  All beat the New Jersey beaches hands down!  They were uncrowded and easy to get to.  The beach breeze was refreshing!  Wish I could have bottled it up somehow.  We even went as far as Sanibel and collected many souvenirs from the beach to bring home.  Restaurants and shopping are plentiful.... there is almost a Super Walmart on every corner...OK maybe a little exaggeration!  A fun time was had by all on this vacation.  I highly recommend this rental property.  I know I am going to regret that later on because you probably will rent the week I want!  I definitely plan on returning to the Shabreeze again and again.  It was one of my favorite vacation spots.  I am so happy Kevin was gracious enough to share his home with all of us.  You will not find a better spot to vacation in.  And that's the truth!"

"After a truly terrible trip getting to Florida from Nova Scotia- starting our vacation one day late due to flight cancellations - We arrived to sunshine at beautiful Shabreeze-set in a peaceful, private setting. The Villa was absolutely beautiful, perfect- spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Even before arriving at Shabreeze our dealings with Kevin ( the owner) were honest and very helpful - he is the greatest! Our whole party of 7 adult friends from Nova Scotia truly loved and enjoyed our stay at "Shabreeze" and hope to return for a longer time. We loved the Villa, the beaches, the restaurants and not far away Spring Training Baseball (Tampa Bay) Stadium. We recommend Shabreeze and trust you have as wonderful a vacation as we did."

"When my sister announced that she was getting married, and wanted a destination wedding to "Sanibel Island" (Florida) we began our search for a place to stay immediately. We quickly found that Hotels/Motels were very expensive, and with a family of 5 eating out was not an option for 3 meals a day. I began searching -via- internet for a house to rent. I e-mailed many people, who owned vacation villas - in Florida. My favorite place was the "SHABREEZE" and was delighted when Kevin called me. We confirmed the reservations, which I felt a bit uneasy as we had to wire money to his bank account. We were nervous as so many people are looking to take advantage of others. Please rest assured if you are unsure about renting the "SHABREEZE", Kevin Pilkington is a very honest, caring, and organized person to deal with. He makes you feel at ease with phone calls, and makes himself very accessible and open to talk to. Plus, his amazing sense of humor - is terrific. You will love him!Not really knowing what to expect, my whole family arrived at "SHABREEZE", Grandparents, Bride, Groom, and the 5 of us, 3 of which are children ages 3,6,and 8. We opened the door to be welcomed by the MOST beautiful, well kept, clean and absolutely perfect home in Florida… the "SHABREEZE!" Everything that our hearts desired was waiting for us. We wanted for nothing !!! (Except for maybe a personal chef - Hee-hee).

One of my many favorite amenities were the beds they were so very, very comfortable. (I usually don't sleep well away from home, but at the "SHABREEZE" sleep was no problem.) While at the "SHABREEZE" we enjoyed only the finest amenities life has to offer, long walks around the very quiet area, and breakfast pool side. All the stresses of life disappeared while we were there. The “SHABREEZE" is tucked away off the busy path and hustle and bustle of Florida. IT IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET in FLORIDA! If you are looking for a relaxing quiet place to stay away from crowds "SHABREEZE" is the BEST place to go!!!!

"We have just returned from Shabreeze and had a fabulous time. The house was spacious enough for 10 people but private enough for each of us to have our own time. The pool got a lot of use from everyone - particularly the hot tub. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need to have some great family meals together.
The house itself is in a beautiful secluded area but it is only 15 or 20 minutes to multiple beaches, restaurants and shopping. You feel as though you are the only person around but close enough to have a good time out and about. It is about 1 hour from Sarasota if you want to check out the greyhound races or Siesta Key and about 1 hour from Ft Myers if you want to check out the amazing white sand beaches there. There is a great seafood restaurant about 15 minutes from Shabreeze called the Lock and Key, and Englewood Beach (15 minutes) is great for swimming or shell collecting.
The house lived up to everything Kevin had promised and his customer service was excellent. It was great to chat over Skype and "see" each other. I would certainly recommend this property to my friends! We are looking forward to booking again."

"We had a fabulous time at Shabreeze - it offered our family of 6 adults and 2 children everything we were hoping for - privacy, comfort and ease!
The home itself is comfortable, well furnished and offers a real home away from home feel especially if you're traveling with a family. We were never crowded, shopping was nearby and convenient and cooking meals were easy and fun. The pool was a big hit - the whole family enjoyed that along with the grill which cooked up some yummy food!
The location was convenient for not only shopping for food but for the guys who fished daily and brought home their fresh catch for cooking. The kids enjoyed playing on the nearby beaches, we shopped, bought souvenirs and some days just slept in and enjoyed fun in the pool and nearby activities...we had some of the best family meals of our lives.
Shabreeze was a true escape from the real world and a step back into what really matters - sharing times with those you love - we had a GREAT time and will be back again! This may not be the place for you if you want in your face activity at every moment...but if you want a place to reconnect and truly entertain and have fun with your family/loved ones you will not be disappointed.

this one GREAT! It was Awesome!! Kevin and Sharon followed through on everything - their home is beautiful, they were great hosts and so much fun to talk to!
Personally, we have never rented from anyone from the UK so it was a bit odd but it ended up being a great experience. They did not let us down and it's always nice to expand your horizons - we actually spoke by "Skype" once and after that felt totally at ease! Can't wait to call them and book again soon...they are really a hoot!!
As a family we actually bought a little trinket for the house (hope Kevin & Sharon don't mind) - it was our way of leaving a little piece of us behind for the next time and the next visitor to enjoy.

Private solar heated Pool and Spa (optional added electric Spa heat boost possible to turn the jetted tub into a 'hot-tub'), set in a spacious fully caged pool deck/lanai area. Pool loungers/toys provided, as is complimentary use of our gas BBQ set on the pool deck. For the protection of children, there is a removable pool guard available at the property.

Fully equipped kitchen including 4 ring stove/range & oven/grill, dishwasher, fridge, freezer (with ice maker), microwave, coffee maker, garbage disposal unit, blender. All cookware, crockery & cutlery, including pool-friendly tablewares are provided.

The living room is extremely spacious, provides seating for 8 people, and opens out onto the pool/lanai area - the main TV + DVD player is also situated in the lounge. We also have a mini hi-fi/CD stereo system.

Free high-speed wi-fi internet access (or plug in the ethernet cable direct from the router on our Breakfast Bar) - just bring your laptop.

A separate formal dining room seats up to 6 people. There is also a more informal dinette area sited next to the kitchens breakfast bar. This comprises a further dining table and chairs for 6 people. Al Fresco dining is also an option using a dining table and chairs provided out on the pool deck.

The utility room houses washing machine & dryer. Allows direct access
into the garage.

The garage door has automatic opening, which includes a remote controlled device you can take out and use when you are returning back to the villa.

**Coast/Beach**
You are very close to the wonderful local 'sugar sand' beaches of the Gulf coast, all within an 10-20min drive from our home. They are some of the best shelling and shark tooth collecting spots along the South Gulf Coast, all very clean and safe swimming waters. Try the fantastic beaches of Manasota, Englewood, Don Pedro Island, Stump Pass beach, unspoilt Gasparilla Island & Boca Grande, plus other exclusive islands such as Captiva and Sanibel Islands - some only
accessible by boat.

**Golf**
Choose from over 20 courses that are within 20 miles of our home - some just literally 2 miles away. 3 of these are Championship standard. There is also a 24 hour, floodlit course just 6 miles away. All courses will hire out all the equipment you may need if you've not taken your own.

Other local activities include diving, jet skiing, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, boat hire, shopping, numerous fantastic restaurants catering for all tastes - especially fish! The area is a haven for fishing, both deep sea and coastal with many places offering equipment, boat rental and fishing trips. Try deep-sea fishing for Marlin off Boca Grande island, which is where the world Tarpon championships are held.

Charlotte Harbour is one of 'Sail' magazines '10 Greatest Places to Sail' and first class boating is available throughout the area. You can also explore waterways by canoe and cycle the many nature trails. Why not take the opportunity to charter a sailing boat with a skipper?

Besides being part of the 'real' Florida, our location is an ideal base for day trips to many local attractions if you want to explore. The 'Everglades' are just 2 hours drive to the south. Tampa Bay with 'Busch Gardens' is 90 minutes drive to the north - with one of the best theme parks for families. If you fancy the 'Orlando' experience, then Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World in Central Florida are only a 2.5 hour drive away.

 The weekly rate stated to you will be fully inclusive of providing all linens, taxes, and cleaning following departure (provided a booking of 7 nts minimum is made).

Optional extras, eg electric spa heat boost for the Jetted tub on the pool deck (hot-tub up to 100degF), cot/crib hire, welcome packs, can be discussed at enquiry stage.

20% deposit is required on booking to secure the villa for your dates required. The 80% balance is required 10 weeks before arrival date. Refundable security/damage deposit is £200/$300, payable at 80% balance stage - refundable within 2 weeks of client departure following satisfactory report provided from our local management company. Payments can be accepted in either GB£ or US$ either via our fully secure Paypal account for credit/debit card payments, or via direct online electronic bank transfer to our UK or US bank accounts. We also have a very simple system for US clients to mail checks direct to our US bank account!

For bookings of less than 7 nights duration (min 2 nights), the rental charge shall be £120 per night, plus a fixed cleaning fee charge of £75.
