This Hornby Home is an up scale WestCoast designed home with two
large bedrooms with King Size Beds. There is sufficient room for
additional sleeping, although contact with the owner should be
discussed if more than 4 in a party. Master Bedroom has ensuite with
two sinks, walk in shower, Secondary Bedroom is adjacent to main
house bathroom (four piece including jucuzzi tub).

The house plan is open with all rooms facing the ocean view- and
south. The house has beem situated to take advantage of the sun's
azimuth. Decks all round from the Dining, Living and Master Bedroom.
Master Bedroom also can remain open to Living Room or be separated by
large glass soji screen pocket doors for privacy. Kitchen is behind
the fireplace as viewed in photos, Dining Room adjacent to step down
into Living Room.

Gratious entrance with coombing style view to the lower level which
contains a 20 x 40 foot indoor swimming pool also with a separate
outside entrance. This area also contains an eight person in ground
Hot Tub

The second bedroom, known as the Emily CArr Room looks into a forest
with an angled view to the ocean

The home is located on 7 gratious acres of fir, arbutus, maple and
oak with outstanding views to the southern end of Denman Island,
Chrome Island Light House and the snow covered mountains of Vancouver
Island. Gratious living with a sense of being outside.

Hornby Island is known as the Hawaii of the North Gulf Islands, in
the northern section of the Islands Trust in the Undiscovered
Islands. The home is a maximum of 15 minutes by all weather road to
any part of the island. The property entrance itself is off set from
the main access by a paved road.

There is a general store, famously known as the Co-Op with liquor
outlet and post office. Surrounding this is the Ringside Market, with
Kiosks for Artistic Productions, and excellent cafe and a summer time
coffee house. Not too distant is the community hall where films are
provided. The BC Ferries landing has a Bar and Pub, up scale dining
room and Bank. Sea Breeze Lodge with-Out of lodge quest dining and
coctail bar is also within a few minutes. Ford's Cove store and
Government Dock, Hornby Island Diving with some of the best Scuba
diving on the west coast also is close at hand.

Beaches are second to none on the West Coast of Canada, and if
challenged by the outcoast beaches, water temperature beats
everything. Fishing, Diving , Mountain and Trail Biking, Horseback
Riding, Golf, Rainforest Walks, Wind surfing and sail boating. The
summer is full of the outdoors. ( Including a kite competition )

Then there is the Film Festival, Hornby Island International Arts
Festival of the Performing Arts, Craft and Artisan workshops and
sales. Hornby's Artisans are World Reknown, and there are many hidden
new comers The famous Hornby Island Farmer's Market every Saturday.
Local and circuit entertainment at the Thatch Pub, Jazz of the
highest quality, Movies, Plays, Concerts.

Don't forget blackberry picking, claming and oyster shucking, or
collect fossils along one of the most prolific fossil grounds of the
Cretacious Period.
