Southkeep: A Calabash Caye Island Retreat in Calabash Caye

This Calabash Caye retreat has an expansive private beach and custom built home on 8 1/2 acre property. The reef here is so close to shore that you can wade to it, and within minutes are the rest of the famous Turneffe Islands as well as Lighthouse Reef and the Blue Hole.
Swim in the crystal clear Caribbean, take a boat out into these brilliant blue waters and bring back a boatload of fish for dinner, or simply stand in the surf and reel in some bonefish or maybe a few memories on your camera.
Southkeep is designed to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. Lay back in one of our hammocks high above the white sands on our hammock deck. Listen to the waves breaking over the reef. Read a book, sip a cool drink on our 38 foot long tiled front porch or just doze off into an afternoon nap.
For an alternative to an air conditioned environment (the house is air conditioned), oversized custom glass windows can be opened to let in soft Caribbean breezes and the sound of the water breaking over the reef.
This is a great place to get away from it all, see fantastic wildlife, recharge your batteries, work on your tan, barbeque on the beach and marvel at the beauty of the stars at night.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity: 6
Number of Bedrooms: 2 (Couch folds out to queen bed in living room to accommodate an additional two people for maximum capacity of 6).
Bathrooms: 3 (2 in facility and 1 on grounds). Bathrooms furnished with:
towels, washcloths, paper products, etc.
Kitchen: 1. Kitchen is furnished with:
glassware, plates, cutlery, etc.
Air Conditioning, Balcony/Deck, Ceiling Fans (all rooms), Microwave, Private Beach, Refrigerator/ Freezer, Washer, Waterfront location, Lanai Floor

Southkeep Property staff is available to:
Help with luggage
Contact facilities with whom you have made arrangements (Oceanic, Blackbird, etc.)
Provide fishing poles tackle and bait for your use at the property
Educate you on the use of any equipment (fishing gear, washer, etc.)
Contact the mainland in case of emergencies.

$1,250.00 per week (low season - 6/1/2009 - 11/30/2009)
$1,600.00 per week (high season - 12/1/2009 – 5/31/2010)

Minimum Stay: 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday) - Longer flexible-date stays are available on request.
