OK, the “voting” was my wife and me, (together with our many past guests), but it's REALLY beautiful and the unobstructed beachfront/sunset views from our heightened  3rd floor corner terrace are simply AWESOME! We believe it's the best spot on the island to view sunsets (further north the sun sets behind Klein Bonaire). As one of our guests recently exclaimed; "your photos definitely do not do it justice". We’ve been traveling to Bonaire for well over 20 years and have been looking for the “perfect spot”. We were the first purchaser at Bellevue when the project was in the building plan stages. Consequently, we were able to purchase the coveted 3rd floor corner unit which provides top security as well as  expansive birds-eye killer views from the living room, both bedrooms and the seaside terrace.

Our search criteria:

*Peaceful beachfront location with breath-taking ocean sunset views. NOT on a lagoon, man-made canal, or marina. We wanted to be ocean front and not have our view of the Caribbean overlooking a busy roadway.

*The safety and security of upper floor living with fantastic views
from all interior windows. Plenty of outdoor privacy on the seaside terrace for
intimate meals, sunbathing etc.

*On a private natural soft sand beach (rather difficult to find on Bonaire) with a great dive site right in front; easy entrance/exit into the sea! Truth be told, before the building was even constructed, I personally dove the reef directly in front to ensure it was what I wanted!

*Away from the hustle and noise of Kralendyk. Although Kralendyk is an intimate picturesque town, we tend to avoid it when a cruise ship is in port.

*Oceanside fresh water pool and hot tub overlooking the Caribbean.

*Far enough from the airport so that jet noise will not interfere with the peace & tranquility at VINIBU. We'd rather hear the song of the troupials!

* As an avid diver/snorkeler I wanted a great reef in our "backyard" together with a secured gear storage area steps from the beach, rinse tank, shower and gear assembling area for those EZ dives "out back".

The new beachfront Bellevue Condominium Residence (10 units,
construction completed latter part of 2008) is surrounded by a
lush tropical garden and is located just 10 minutes south of Kralendyk, in
an exclusive Belnem neighborhood of prestigious oceanfront homes.
The Belnem coastal area offers the finest ocean frontage on Bonaire.

An elevator takes you up to your secure 3rd floor corner unit which we
named VINIBU. The spacious living room opens up onto the beachfront
terrace which provides a sweeping panorama offering seemingly surreal
views of the dazzling turquoise Bonaire waters, Klein Bonaire and the
mountainous north part of the island.

The soft sandy beach and Caribbean Sea are literally steps away! In
one minute you can wade into the 80 degree gin clear water, take a dip
in the pool, relax in the poolside hot tub/spa or just enjoy the
privacy of your covered balcony as you sit back & enjoy the sunset.
Marvel at the ever changing hues of the diaphanous blue water & enjoy viewing
a pod of dolphins arching their way through the water in the early morning hours. Tip....Just keep your mask & snorkel handy!

For those who prefer not to climb stairs, our airy condo is all one
level. Architecturally, VINIBU is constructed to take advantage of the
refreshing trade winds (one of the many benefits besides the
upper-floor 180 degree seaside view) which blow east to west &
naturally cool the rooms. All windows have micro-mesh screens (even keeps out the smallest of bugs). Not only are the 2 bedrooms air conditioned, but for those who choose, the kitchen and living rooms are also completely air conditioned.
The option is yours; au natural cooling with the trade winds and
ceiling fans or air conditioning throughout.

The master bedroom has a wonderful view of the Caribbean; the
guest bedroom opens up onto a small terrace which overlooks the east
side of the island. Each has an en suite bathroom with a large walk in
shower.

For those occasions when you want to eat in, a modern fully equipped kitchen is provided for your comfort which includes all granite
counters, a full size oven, broiler, ceramic cook top, microwave,
thermo carafe coffee maker, blender, toaster, electric kettle, outside grill on the
seaside terrace, dishwasher, all dishes/utensils etc. An insulated cooler is also available for those picnics to the national park!

For our guests, the main activities are scuba diving, swimming, and snorkeling,
which can be done right off your own private soft sand beach. Bellevue is
constructed over one of the few, natural sandy beaches on Bonaire.
It's really a great spot for beginner divers with a  sand entry and exit, not the iron shore which is so prevalent around the island. Buddy Dive @ Belmar a full service dive center is a short 300 meters down the road (literally a 30 sec car ride).

The magnificent reef drop off is 50 meters off shore in approximately 35 feet of clear water. Our outside, fresh-water shower is convenient for rinsing the sand off from the beach before coming onto the pool deck. There is also a rinse tank for dive equipment together with a locker for hanging and storing gear.

Belnem boasts some of the most luxurious private seaside properties on all of Bonaire. You'll find that neighboring properties along the shore road are priced well in excess of $1.5 million. It also has some wonderful small beaches not accessible to the general public. Belnem is quiet, yet only a ten minute ride to Kralendyke the main town on Bonaire. Rest assured, you will not be over run with cruise ship passengers when the ships are in port.
