The settlement of Mount Dora was named for it's beautiful lake, which
was named for the lovely lady, Ms. Dora Ann Drawdy, who homesteaded
there in the mid 1800's. The "Mount" was added to reflect the 184 feet
above sea level elevation of the settlement. An elevation that is
unusual in Florida. A short stroll down the hill will
take you to all of the main street shops that Mount Dora is famous
for.

deposit of $150 to hold
