Summer is easy...  the deck, the grill, the river...

Great Barrington is only 10 min. away and offers all amenities of a country town: great Cinema, good restaurants, life music bars,bowling, yoga, internet cafe.

No high speed internet access in the house. Limited Verizon/AT&T cell 
phone connection at the house, sporadic in the area. local phone calls free from the landline.

DVD, CD/radio player.

TV connection (only on demand per satellite) at your own cost. 

The care taker lives across the street and will check in on you on a regular basis.

Cleaning Lady available on demand.

PLOWING: The person who plows the driveway will be very reliable and at low cost.

skiing, walking/hiking, snow shoeing/boarding, in Winter; watching the birds coming to the feeder can be quite spectacular.
swimming, biking, hiking in Summer ; plus all kinds of Berkshire Cultural programs (theatre, dance, music, yoga, poetry, etc.)

Monthly Winter Fee is $1900, in SUMMER is a different story ($3500) plus utilities, e.g. Oil (radiant heat).

wood for stove is free (flames can be viewed through glass door, which is mesmerizing, meditative and adds a romantic touch.
