Sand Cay: Small beach resort! in Longboat Key

Unit 307 is located on the third and top floor (elevator access) and is 400 feet from the beach...  you can walk to our own white sandy beach that has long chairs for relaxation.

During the summer 2008, the condominium unit was renovated and modernized. The kitchen and the two bathrooms were completely redone, as was the flooring. A cathedral ceiling provides an open space in the living room while the open kitchen design allows you to be with your family while cooking or entertaining. A small den has a desk with Internet connexion(DSL), and is separated from the other living spaces. You can either swim in our heated pool or walk on the third floor catwalk of the building and get direct access to white sandy beach. We provide beach chairs for you to enjoy the most incredible sunsets of Florida. If you are lucky you might see the green flash...keep watching.

Our small resort of 60 units isn't pretentious; it is just a casual atmosphere in a relaxing ambiance for families or couples. The Longboat key area is considered
by law enforcement as one of the most secure and relaxing places in Florida.

On site: laundry, video library, welcome desk, and ample parking spaces. The resort is handicapped accessible with elevators. The resort is located one mile from a Publix supermarket that offers good options in terms of food and beverages. A pharmacy is adjacent to the supermarket. Bicycle rental is available at Ace Hardware, 5 minutes from the resort. Besides the resort is the Hilton hotel, which rents sea-doos and small catamarans.

There are many restaurants on the Island that offer a variety of foods at different price levels. A few minutes south of the resort is St-Armand's Circle, which offers a multitude of boutiques, restaurants, bars and a lovely "promenade". You will enjoy the pace and the security of this island and the quality of foods. Find the Sand Bar on Anna Maria Island, or discover the Mar Vista less than 3 miles north, ... or find your own restaurant in Sarasota.

Note to drivers: watch your speed, this friendly environment is well known for its security and safety; police enforcement of speed limit is legend...

Biking (rental is less than a mile from unit 307 at Ace Hardware)! Roller blades on dedicated paved paths!

Dipping in the heated pool and relaxing in a quiet atmosphere of this small resort! We also suggest wine tasting on the balcony of the condo!
