Affordable Penthouse, Amazing Balcony near Fr.Quarter in New Orleans

Come stay in an affordable Penthouse! (Mardi Gras is booked, sorry).  Located in Historic Faubourg Marigny, this 1830's creole corner-store is a treat to stay in, and has a european feel to it. Only 12 blks to the French Quarter- my home has 14 ft ceilings, hardwood floors, and large windows everywhere. This home is the whole 2nd floor, with private entrance, includes a 3rd floor loft, and has a lovely wrap around HUGE balcony with a view of 3 old church steeples...Everything you need is in the area-- grocery 2 blks away, coffee shops, restaurants, pool, bars-- people walk and ride bicycles in the area......treat yourself and stay in a lovely home, not a stuffy hotel... we did NOT get flooding from Katrina here--we are on higher ground! yea!  This place is very popular, and gets booked steadily. Rent or bring a bike--this is the best way to see New Orleans....

I also have a larger 1500sf unit downstairs that's very similar in looks to the upper unit, and has a very nice courtyard to relax in.  People rent both units for larger groups, or take the lower one if upper unit is booked. It has chandeliers in 1 bedroom, tall ceilings, and the coolest bar ever with a very large living/dining/kitchen area.  It used to be a cafe.  !! very swanky pad!!!  I can forward pics to you upon request. Email me if this is booked-i have other properties too!!  This is a residential area, so no parties--sorry.

Both units have a queen bed in each of the 2 bedrooms, then a double sleeper sofa + extra queen mattress in living room to sleep 8-- 4 beds total for EACH unit.

This is loft style, so if you have a large group- you won't get much privacy.

10 blks to the French Quarter,shopping, music festivals are almost every weekend!!, incredible restaurants and coffee shops/bars/stores.  If you need to cool off--only 5 blks away is a pool house country club,  see amazing architecture, cemetary tours, swamp tours, plantation home tours.

Frenchmen St. is only 8 blks away and has great music to see and great food, of course.

$275 per night, $250 for 3+ nights,  holidays $350 per night(vary), Deposit $350, Pricing increases with more than 4 in party.

Festivals- $575 night Jazzfest, Mardi Gras, Voodoo, FQF, $450 for july 4th,

$85-125 maid fee

monthy stays are $5,000k- months that are during a festival are not available for monthly rent.
