vacation rental description

Apartment of 50 sqm. at the first floor in a red painted house
reproduced also in some paintings of Canaletto and Bellotto (see
Canaletto painting's picture SS.Giovanni and Paolo square
Dresda Staatliche Kunstammlungen Kemaldegalerie).
The original structure dates back to the 16th century and has been
entirely restored.
Floor is in "seminato alla veneziana" (paste of marble powder
studded with marble pieces).
It's well furnished with 1 double bedroom, 1 living-dining room with
2 single or 1 double sofa bed, 1 bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen.
Indipendent heating, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher,
TV with DVD player, CD player, italian coffee maker, electric kettle.

Free wi-fi in the apartment and in the main part of the town.

The house is on the canal and has its own berth.

The apartment is just 5 minutes walk from the St. Marco square and
20 minutes by boat from the airport.
It has a lovely terrace, completely equipped, overlooking one of the
most beautiful square in Venice (campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo).
The location is ideal for a stay in the heart of Venice and is also
the best point of departure for easily reach the islands of the
lagoon.

Prices listed are per property per night (minimun stay 3 nights) for a maximum of 4 guests.
They may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.


All prices include electricity, gas, water, linen and towels, final cleaning, free wi-fi.

Additional cost: extra bed € 20,00 per night for the 5th guest.

Please note that a 30% reservation deposit is payable on booking, the balance at the check in.

Payments through PayPal acceptable.

There is also a refundable damage deposit to pay at the check in.

Wonderful Apartment in a Terrific Location

My husband Alan and I stayed in Sabrina's wonderful apartment for a full month. We absolutely loved the apartment. It was roomy enough for the two of us to be able to have our own space, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bedroom had tons of closet space. The furniture was very comfortable. THe apartment was immaculate when we arrived. Sabrina was very easy to work with in making our arrangements and the two times we had to call her (a blown lightbulb in the ceiling and a hot water problem) she and her husband came in short order to take care of it for us.

The location is absolute great, right on a canal opposite the Ospedale and the Campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo. THere are very good restaurants within a 5-10 walk, and bars, bakeries, and gelato within a 30 second walk. It is very easy to get to the vaporetti. Everything was well within easy walking distance including supermarkets and all the "highlights" of Venice.

We would stay in this apartment again in a second and hope to do just that in the next year or two. I would highly recommend it for two people.

Recommended for: age 55+, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Everything in the apartment was as adverised and lived up to other's reviews. The apartment had all the amenities we could have asked for....balcony was very nice as well. Location was very convenient to get around the city. Sabrina was very accomodating to us and worked with our schedules to make check in/out seamless. I would definitely stay here again or recommend a friend to stay here

Recommended for: sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Amazing apartment in fantastic location!

Our family of four stayed in this beautiful appartment for 7 nights. We could not have asked for anything better. The location was very central to many amenities such as small shops and eating/drinking places as well as to beautiful sightseeing places in Venice. We were able to walk all over the city from this apartment and always enjoyed going "home" to our neighborhood where we got to know shopkeepers in the area.
The apartment was beautiful and well-maintained. It was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The terrace looking over the street was very enjoyable. Sabrina was very easy to work with in making arrangements.
We were so fortunate to have found this apartment and highly recommend staying there!

Recommended for: families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
