Mid-century apartment well preserved. Feels like grandma's apartment ''in a cool way''. Two bedroom unit can accommodate 4 with two queen luxurious beds with down alternative pillows, down comforter, and high thread count sheets. Bathroom has artisan applied specialty painting with turkish travertine shower surround and vanity. Kitchen has original red tile and linoleum flooring with newer appliances including the simple basics to cook at home. Dining Room has a touch of formality and a bit of bling with original kitchy chandelier. Living Room has comfortable seating and 42'' flat screen TV. Good closet storage throughout bedrooms and central hallway.

DESIGNATED PARKING with carport and driveway that accommodates 2 vehicles. Parking is highly coveted as the neighborhood becomes more dense.

One of the charms of this property is that it is in a quiet neighborhood for a city location. As much as we want our guests to have a good time, please be aware this is not a party pad. The sofa is not intended to be additional sleeping for guests and additional bedding is not provided.

Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Stone Way bus lines to downtown, etc. Stone Way starts at Lake Union and goes north to Greenlake and quickly becoming a hot new street with restaurants and shopping. Near Gasworks Park, Burke Gilman Trail, Woodland Park Zoo, Fremont, The Troll, 2 miles to Husky stadium and the University of Washington. Business travelers will find convenient to software, internet, and biotech companies located in Fremont and South Lake Union. Also convenient for visitors of the University House retirement community.

Nice and quiet - Parking a plus!

I stayed here with my two young sons (1 and 3) to visit friends living close by. Teri and Randy were responsive and very nice in every way. The unit is comfortable, includes cable and wifi, and the parking spot(s) in the driveway were great to avoid the street parking. We arrived on a hot day (92 degrees) and the unit was as warm as to be expected, but Randy gave us tips on how to keep it cool and provided two great moveable tower fans to help circulate air, which helped us cool the unit quickly in the evening and sleep comfortably. I'm including this comment not as a criticism, but so that people know that A/C is not something to expect in Seattle because of the beautiful climate, and that this unit is just fine in the evening, even on the warmest of days.

The neighborhood was very quiet, and in fact I was a bit nervous about my rambunctious boys making too much noise with the windows open because it is such a peaceful haven. The location in Wallingford was close to both the 45th/Wallingford area as well as walking downtown in Fremont. We also took our minivan to the ferries downtown (during a busy hour) and up to the Woodland Park Zoo and did not encounter many traffic issues. Thanks Teri and Randy, our visit was wonderful!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Very nice accomodation

Immaculately clean and well furnished. The owner/landlord was friendly, returned calls quickly and very accommodating. Neighborhood very quiet but with all types of eateries available withing a short distance.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Great base for grandson visiting

We were delighted with this spacious getaway. Our main goal was to visit with our children who both live in Seattle ( and near this VRBO) so we didn't need a lot of amenities. The apartment was clean, the bed and shower were marvelous and the neighborhood was quiet. Hoping we will be able to stay here again.
