Welcome to Woodside Cottage on River Road in Lake Placid. The property is located on the banks of
the Ausable River, one of New York State’s premier trout fishing streams. Whether you are looking
for a quiet getaway or a fast–paced adventure, this new cottage is the perfect place to enjoy the
splendor and diversity of the Adirondack Mountains. Woodside provides exceptional comfort in a
secluded setting minutes from downtown Lake Placid and its numerous shops, restaurants and athletic
facilities.
Anglers can step directly into the West Branch at Cody’s Flats and wade to trophy trout and catch &
release areas just minutes downriver. In winter, enjoy downhill skiing at Whiteface Mountain (12
minutes away). Hop onto the nearby Jackrabbit Trail for access to a network of trails designed for
cross-country ski and snowshoe enthusiasts. Whether you are 5 or 75, the many walking and hiking
trails of the Adirondacks offer spectacular views and one-of-a kind experiences. Join the runners
and cyclists who use River Road (located on the Ironman course!) for year-round recreation and
training.
Remember…the solitude offered by Woodside’s location makes this cottage a perfect place for those
seeking to do nothing other than to take a break or visit some place new. Put your feet up, read a
book and be lazy for a while!
Personal travels make me willing to accommodate individual requests, so let me know what you need
and I will do my best to provide it. I am happy to make arrangements ($20.00 hourly fee) for the
local market to fill a grocery list prior to your arrival. My hope is to offer the most comfortable
and pleasant environment for your visit that I can.

December 23, 2009 - March 14, 2010...................$150 night/$900 week

March 15, 2010 - June 17, 2010...........................$125 night/$700 week

June 18, 2010 - October 10, 2010........................$175 night/$1,100 week

A deposit is requested in order to guarantee a reservation.

All visits must be for at least 2 nights.*  A visit of 3 nights is requested on Holiday weekends.  A visit of 6 - 7 nights is requested for Christmas/New Years' week and also for Ironman week.

*Depending upon the time of year, mid-week visits of one night can sometimes be arranged.  A cleaning fee of $25.00 is charged.
