We raised our children on BPK and the opportunity to play outside is limitless. Chasing lizards,
snorkeling the canal, cooking on the grill as a family and having a fresh picked coconut are the
stuff memories are made.
Less than a minute from a soothing swim in the canal. Minutes from the open water, island
restaurants, groceries, and reeling in the catch of the day. Only thirty minutes from the hustle and bustle of Key West.
The accommodations are soothing and comfortable. Three televisions, cable, high-speed Internet, and
lots of places to relax to help you unwind.
Pine Channel excites your senses. Throughout your day you will hear the calls of ospreys and see
frigate birds soaring. At dawn and dusk you'll see shy Key deer exploring the neighborhood.
On Big Pine you'll have a great awareness of natural wonders. You'll see the phases of the moon like you've never seen, beautiful views of the crystal-clear water in every different light. A perfect little rain storm coming across the water, the light show that is the Milky Way and every evening a sunset that's new and different.
Mornings on the screened porch with coffee conleche and the local newspaper (AKA the mullet wrapper)
are perfection.
During your day you have a premier neighborhood for boating, fishing, diving, and exploring the
backcountry. And at the end of your day you have a comfortable soothing place to rest your eyes,
enjoy a frozen concoction, and dream about tomorrow. All you need to bring is a book mark, bathing
suit and fishing pole.

There is lots to do and see within walking distance as well as groceries and restaurants but we
suggest to get maximum enjoyment from this vacation rental that you have a vehicle.
Airport 30 miles away in Key West or Marathon
Our goal in setting up your vacation rental was comfort for our guests and to provide the things we
would expect if we were renting a vacation home.
The house is about twelve hundred square feet under central air and heat. One thing that sets our
property apart, besides its great location, is that it's a ground level home with a carport. If you
have vacationed in the Keys you know how many stairs there are when carrying in the groceries, your
knees will thank you for this home.
We wanted folks to come in and not have to buy everything so we provide simple things that add up.
You will find dish detergent and dishwasher detergent. Trash bags and food storage bags. There is a
washer and dryer and we provide laundry products for those. Alan and I have owned a timeshare for
twenty years so we know what it is to go to a home away from home. Even Martha Stewart would
approve, we bought her fully stocked spiral spice rack.
The house is tiled throughout. Has a nice screened porch over looking the canal with a paved walkway leading to it. No shoes, yea!
The beds are new Serta's, one king and one queen. The sofabed is a comfy Rowe with an inflatable
mattress so there's no bar to hurt your back. There are two new flat screen TV's and DVD players
with them. We bought the most comfortable sink-into sectional sofa we could find. I made the
curtains for all of the windows, they are a lovely shell print.
We had a lot of fun trying to anticipate all the things our guests would need. So from coffee maker, to blender, cookie sheets, towels and sheets we think we've got you covered. Please feel free to contact us.
