A Gift from the Sea is a charming well-designed, ground level home comfortable for 4-6 guests. The décor and wall colors were selected to be soothing after a long day enjoying all there is to do on the water or playing tourist.

Your vacation home is three lots in from the open water on a crystal-clear canal that’s perfect for swimming or just watching as you sit on the back porch with a good book.

The galley style kitchen is well equipped for preparing the catch of the day or admiring on your way out the door as you enjoy a meal in one of the local’s spots within a short drive or walk.

The den and dining room encompass one large space that’s perfect for watching cable on the flat panel television or just relaxing. From the sectional sofa you can watch the ever-changing sunsets the keys are famous for.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet and its own flat panel television.

The guest bedroom has a comfortable queensize and a walk in closet. In the living room there is a hide-a-bed that makes up in seconds. Two full baths round out the floor plan.

There’s 75 feet of seawall to dock your boat, a fish cleaning station on the water, covered parking for your car and plenty of room for your boat trailer right on the lot.

There is lots to do and see within walking distance as well as groceries and restaurants but we
suggest to get maximum enjoyment from this vacation rental that you have a vehicle.
Airport 30 miles away in Key West or Marathon
Our goal in setting up your vacation rental was comfort for our guests and to provide the things we
would expect if we were renting a vacation home.
The house is about twelve hundred square feet under central air and heat. One thing that sets our
property apart, besides its great location, is that it's a ground level home with a carport. If you
have vacationed in the Keys you know how many stairs there are when carrying in the groceries, your
knees will thank you for this home.
We wanted folks to come in and not have to buy everything so we provide simple things that add up.
You will find dish detergent and dishwasher detergent. Trash bags and food storage bags. There is a
washer and dryer and we provide laundry products for those. Alan and I have owned a timeshare for
twenty years so we know what it is to go to a home away from home. Even Martha Stewart would
approve, we bought her fully stocked spiral spice rack.
The house is tiled throughout. Has a nice screened porch over looking the canal with a paved walkway leading to it. No shoes, yea!
The beds are new Serta's, one king and one queen. 
There are two new flat screen TV's and DVD players
with them. We bought the most comfortable sink-into sectional sofa we could find. I made the
curtains for all of the windows, they are a lovely shell print.
We had a lot of fun trying to anticipate all the things our guests would need. So from coffee maker, to blender, cookie sheets, towels and sheets we think we've got you covered. Please feel free to contact us.

An entertaining flea market on weekends with a vegetable market
If after all that you're ready for a rest there are lots of comfortable places to just relax.

We require a $500 dollar deposit that reserves your dates This deposit converts to a security deposit during your stay and will be returned to you within two weeks as long as none of the rental agreements are broken.

We are pleased to accept a number of payment options including credit cards and personal checks.

$3600 per 28 day month (that's a rate of only $900 per week) 

There is a cleaning fee of $125 for each rental.

We have a two week minimum for the Christmas holiday

Fifty percent of the total rental amount is due 60 days prior to arrival and the rest is due 30 days prior to arrival. We can work out other terms of payment if the rental is made within a shorter time frame.

We are flexible on start and end days, where possible, so you may take advantage of cheaper midweek flights.
