Backwoods Lodge rests in the middle of 5 wooded acres, shielding you from the outside world. You’ll feel as if you’re miles away from nowhere and yet all the conveniences of home are just a hop-skip-and-a-jump away. If you already live in the area and have family that has not been able to come and visit because your home is not wheelchair accessible, this is the place to have your family stay or have a reunion! Pets are family as far as we are concerned and having a place that is designed for them is great! We have a cedar lined outdoor kennel for bedtime. Plus you and your dog can enjoy miles of trails at the U.S. National Whitewater Park just a 5 minute walk from the front porch! Stay at the Lodge while you enjoy Panthers Football, Bobcats Basketball, Racing, Fishing Tournaments, and other local sporting events. Vacationers at Backwoods Lodge will enjoy the convenience of all that is fun around Charlotte within a 50 mile radius; which is a blessing considering the price of gas.
