Turtle Cay is a cozy oceanfront 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home located
in South Ponte Vedra Beach, between St. Augustine and Jacksonville.
You'll feel right at home in this fully furnished beach front
getaway. With St. Augustine 5 miles South and Ponte Vedra 18 miles
North, you'll find plenty of shopping, attractions, dining, and
entertainment. Want to skip all the excitement and just relax?
Grab a cold drink and your favorite book and enjoy the private,
covered, wrap-around deck. Here you can watch the pelicans pass
overhead, dolphins jumping in the ocean, or listen to the waves break
on the shore. Throw some burgers on the grill and enjoy your meals
indoors or out. The kitchen is fully furnished, and you can buy
groceries just a few miles away. Magnificent ocean views can be
enjoyed from the open kitchen with breakfast bar, living room and
dining area. Decorated with fun beachy themes, Turtle Cay will
quickly become your oceanfront home away from home. So pack your bags
and come home to the Beach!

The living room is a great gathering place for all at Turtle Cay. The
fully furnished kitchen opens into the living room, adding more
social space in the home. The sectional couch centers around the
TV and decorative fireplace. The dining table seats 8 and there is
breakfast bar seating for 2.
Downstairs you'll find full size laundry machines for your use. The
wrap-around deck is covered on the back of the house, providing a
shady, outdoor retreat, while the side and front deck are open to
the sun for tanning. The deck has a private walkway directly down to
the sandy beach. The deck is a perfect place for reading, napping, or
enjoying a 'sand free' day at the beach. There are beach
chairs, toys, and surf boards for our guests to use. We are sure you
will find our home to be an enjoyable place to stay, year after year.
Turtle Cay is available for Holidays, TPC, Florida Georgia game, and
all year 'round. So come home to the beach.

There are many activities in the areas in and around South Ponte
Vedra. St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, is home to many
tourist attractions such as guided carriage rides, historic
landmarks, the Fountain of Youth, and many more. There is plenty of
shopping, dining, and nightlife in St. Augustine as well. There are
several concerts in the outdoor amphitheatre each month, as well as
live music at some of the local waterfront restaraunts such as the
Conch House.
A short, scenic drive north from Turtle Cay will take you to posh
Ponte Vedra and Sawgrass. Here you will find many elegant dining
choices, upscale boutiques, cigar stores, and fine jewelry shoppes.
Sawgrass is home to the PGA's annual TPC golf tournament.
Less than one hour away is downtown Jacksonville, where you can catch
a NFL Jacksonville Jaguars game, dine or shop at the riverfront
Jacksonville Landing, or take in the sights at the Jacksonville
Zoo. Day trips to Daytona or Orlando are easy to make from Turtle
Cay as well.
If you are into outdoor activities, there are plenty of options to
choose from. There are many types of fishing in the area including:
surf fishing right from your beach, intracoastal fishing
trips, and offshore full day excursions. There are kayaking trips
available in St. Augustine as well as horseback riding, cycling, and
hiking trails.
Do you golf? If so, pack your clubs because there are dozens of
beautiful golf courses in the area. The World Golf Village is host
to two marvelous 18 hole courses, an 18 hole putting course,
and the World Golf Hall of Fame. St. Augustine has several public
and semi-private courses as well as dozens of courses in
Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, and Jacksonville Beach.
There are many dining choices in the area as well. Be sure to check
out some local fare at two nearby waterfront restaurants: The Reef
and Caps. Both are just a few minutes south of Turtle Cay.

Winter 2009 (Sept 12, 2009 - Feb 26):

1-4 Guests: $1,800/week, 5 or more guests: $2,000/week

$325/night, 3 night minimum

Payment is only accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency
and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner.
$500 damage deposit required for each rental of one week or less;
deposit refund guaranteed within two weeks of departure, assuming no
damage/cleaning issues; 9% taxes additional to all rents.  Cleaning
for all rentals is $165 or $215 depending on which cleaning option the guests chooses.  Guest can do a few minor cleaning items prior to check out and save $50 on the cleaning fee. 

Weekly rates only for all holidays; $500 up-charge for Easter,
Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years weeks.
All fees due 8 weeks in advance of arrival date.
No refunds of monies collected (except taxes) unless the house
becomes uninhabitable (if we have to close the house and evacuate due
to a hurricane; does not apply to bad weather only!) or unless
owners are able to re-rent for the same dates and rates. For all
renter cancellations, a 10% service charge will be deducted from
refunds made. We encourage all renters to obtain trip cancellation
insurance.
