apartment is a dream come true for water lovers, boat lovers, and fishing fanatics. Located directly on the harbor and right below your feet, the panoramic windows of the living room are alive with the activities of work boats, lobster boats, pleasure boats, sail boats of all sizes, and occasionally, a mega-yacht. Your entire vacation can be spent on the deck absorbing the world on the water as well as the views of the mountains in the distance. Located directly next to the lower town dock puts you in a commercial fishing environment, yet you are less than a mile from downtown Southwest Harbor (easy for walking or biking). Not to be repetitive, but this location is absolutely hypnotic, awesome, and mesmerizing!

To completely clarify the location of this apartment, and so there are no urprises, this apartment is located at the lower town dock of Southwest Harbor. This is a commercial environment, thus activity on the water begins early. There can be some noise from boats and fisherman, yet it is alive with activities which will entertain you for hours. Being on the third floor, you are completely private from the rest of the building, which houses two rental locations for marine related businesses (not very active – most of their work is off site). 

The apartment is very spacious (1150sf) plus a small deck over the water. Entry to the apartment is by one of two stairways; one inside (two flights of stairs) in case of bad weather, or the second stairway which is outside on the waterside. The front deck has childproof webbing around all railings. This is a perfect location for enjoying morning coffee, lunch, or an afternoon happy hour, if you prefer. The large living room/dining room/open kitchen area is very people friendly and is totally surrounded on three sides with large picture windows. All apartment windows are equipped with window quilts for insulation and privacy. Living room contains queen sleeper sofa, cable television, and DVD player. Kitchen is completely equipped with all necessary amenities – dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, ice maker, dishwasher, etc. Just bring your clothes and food and you are ready to go! Dining room has a four-place table and also an island with four bar stools.  The guest bedroom contains a complete queen bedroom suite. The master bedroom (over 250sf) also has a queen bedroom suite, an additional double sofa-sleeper, and a desk with chair. There is no internet service available at the apartment, but wireless internet ‘hotspots’ are available in town less than a mile away. Last, but not least, the spacious bathroom also houses washer and dryer for your convenience. This apartment is truly a home away from home, so come and enjoy!

Owners supply bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, bed-sheets, blankets, and pillows. Cable television with DVD player. Plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives, cups, toilet paper and paper towels are supplied by the owners. Cooking supplies (pots, pans and utensils) are also supplied by the owners. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, fans, front deck with table, chairs, storage bin, and small propane grill. Put all of this together and you create a unbelievable vacation spot!
