Constructed in 2004, Sherwood Forest is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath private home tucked away in the mountains and surrounded by forest. Away from the congestion of downtown but close enough to enjoy all that Breckenridge has to offer. Although located only 5 minutes from downtown Breckenridge you will feel as though you are miles away as you enjoy incredible views and quiet peaceful surroundings. Mountains, lakes, streams, trees and wildlife are located right outside your door. Some great hiking trails are within easy walking distance from the house. Located in the Blue River Valley on a flat treed lot, this lovely home is easily accessible even in bad weather. No slippery roads to navigate! There is a warm cozy gas fireplace in the family room. A fabulous kitchen is wonderfully appointed with granite counters, ceramic tile, stainless steel appliances, two stoves, an eating bar and every cooking and baking amenity. The large dining room table accommodates eight people, plus three more at the kitchen island. An oversized master suite is located upstairs with a soaking Jacuzzi tub. Two more bedrooms are located upstairs in a separate wing with their own private bath. A fourth bed is a cushy futon located downstairs. Sleeps 8. We have satellite TV, wireless internet, washer and dryer, and a wood burning stove for your enjoyment. Heated three car garage for easy use and low snow maintenance. Watch it snow from two large decks overlooking the mountains and the forest. Relax in our new hot tub while you enjoy the mountain scenery. The home's open floor plan and vaulted ceilings create an ambience that is perfect for entertaining and family gatherings. Living area has satellite TV, DVD player, phone, answering machine, oversized couch, coffee table, bookshelves, two large recliners and a cushy futon. TV's in living room, kitchen, master bedroom and guest bedroom. Wireless internet, gas fireplace, hot tub, jacuzzi, outdoor grill, movies, games, puzzles and fleece throws for your comfort. Master bedroom with a king size bed, two guest bedrooms with queen beds. Forest and mountain views from all windows and decks. Humidifier, fan and hair dryer provided. Wood decks on both sides of the house, landscaped lawn and garden, patio furniture and a swing where you may view a fox, deer or moose. Hummingbirds abound and you may even spot an eagle. Creek with an old wooden bridge is a short walk from our home where you can fish or begin your hike through the mountains. Minutes away is a large scenic lake where you can fish for trout. Five minutes from downtown Breckenridge. You can be on the slopes in ten minutes. Our home is professionally managed by Resort Managers located in downtown Breckenridge.
