home
is surrounded by pine trees, located on the hillside above with a
view of the valley meadow and mountains. This vacation home is
ideal
for families and groups, well furnished and equipped, 2 minutes from
ski lifts.
The open living/dining/kitchen area is highlighted by vaulted
ceilings,exposed wood beams, warm wood paneling, large rock
fireplace,
wall to wall carpeting, hard wood floors, deck, view,large outdoor
spa.
Jacuzzi in one of two full bath rooms. This home can sleep 14.
Two of the bedrooms have a queen, a bunk set,and TV. Third bedroom
has a double bed.There are two sofa beds in the living area with
TV, stereo,CD,games for kids and adults, local ski trail maps,
restaurant menus/reviews, recreation brochures, baby sitter list,
etc.

A large stone fire place provides a cozy setting for family

A deck facing the meadow, accessed through French doors from the
living room provides views in a serene private setting. Barbeque,
picnic table, for your summer meals,comfortable padded furniture,
shade & sun....ideal for snoozing, sunbathing, reading. Front yard:
landscapaing,lawn, rock garden,plants.

If you have not been to Lake Tahoe for a while? You will find Squaw
Valley quiet, serene, peaceful, unlike the Lakeside area with its
heavy traffic, fumes, noise, crowds. But, you will be only 8
minutes
from Lake Tahoe, 25 min from North shore casinos, 45 min from Reno.
Squaw Valley now has a golf course, swimming pools, several
restaurants,tennis, stables, bike paths, shops, botiques, deli, bike
rentals, etc.
Recreation that you might be interested in:
1. Raft float down Truckee River from Tahoe city(Lake Tahoe) to River
Ranch(Alpine Meadows entrance)...4 miles...2-3 hours, then burgers,
beer on the terrace of River Ranch watching other fearless explorers.
2. Ride cable car up to High Camp(8000 feet) in Squaw Valley to
large
lagoon swimming pool, hot tub, ice skating, lunch on
terrace....views
of Valley,Lake, mountains.
4. Hike part way up Shirley Canyon in SV to water fall...easy hike,
big water flows cascading over boulders, wild flowers, mist. Or all
the way up to High Camp pool.
5. Resort at Squaw Creek...big swimming pool, kids pool, hot
tubs,......just walk in...they do not check to confirm guests! Golf
course open to public greens fee charge.
6. Re biking: bike path, separate from road, along entire SV to
bike
path along Truckee River at water edge to River Ranch, then continue
to Tahoe City(Lake Tahoe)... scenic,tranquill, flat ride.
7. Robert Trent Jones golf course, Resort at Squaw Creek in meadow
8. Dine at one of 1/2 dozen restaurants in Squaw Valley, or Tahoe
