Vacation Rental Description

Relax in our spacious (2200 sq ft), open, modern, bright, sunny  
waterfront stilt home located in desirable Key Colony Beach, The Gem  
of the Florida Keys. Key Colony Beach is a peaceful and secure  
community on its own quiet and serene tropical island on the ocean  
side at the east end of Marathon.   
 
Sixty feet of private deepwater dockage at your back door on the  
canal, with immediate access to the Atlantic Ocean and a few quick  
minutes to the Gulf of Mexico.  The dockage is complete with a large  
bait and fish freezer, filet station, multiple water hookups, 110V  
outlets; and can easily accommodate most vessels. 
 
All glass back with fifty feet of East facing tiled screened upper  
deck overlooking the swimming pool, palm trees, tropical flora, and  
pristine canal; where you can relax for a meal, watch the boats pass  
by, or simply unwind in the ocean breezes of the Florida Keys with a  
tropical potion. Stunning sunrises are available for the early  
risers.

Activities and Attractions

Key Colony Beach is in the heart of the Middle Keys. Our quaint  
little community boasts pet friendly waterfront parks, SCUBA diving  
services, boat and kayak rentals, tennis courts, jogging paths, a  
playground, golf course, boat ramp, and charter fishing fleet.   
 
These attractions, as well as a post office, deli, small shopping  
center, and several restaurants are just a short walk away.  The  
main thoroughfares feature wide, protected lanes for walkers,  
bicyclers or joggers. 
 
There are two major supermarkets, many restaurants, gift boutiques,  
convenience and national drug stores, and a hospital in the area.  
There is also a public library with computers and internet access.  
 
Nearby is the Dolphin Research Center and the Theater of the Sea  
which offer tours and education as well as the chance to meet and  
swim with the dolphins!

Vacation Rental Rates

Regular Season        (Mid-December through Labor Day, with  
  $2950/week + tax     the exception of Lobster Season Opening and  
Cristmas/New Years) 
 
Christmas/New Years 
$3350/week + tax 
     
Lobster Season        (Last week of July – 1st two weeks of lobster 
$3350/week + tax       season,1st or 2nd weeks of August)  
 
Fall Season           (Labor Day – Mid-December)  
  $2212.50/wk + tax   (no discount during holiday weeks) 
 
Rentals are weekly from 3pm Saturday - 11am Saturday. 
Rates quoted are for eight people; additional persons are $25 each 
$900 security deposit + $50 processing fee 
$135 cleaning fee 
$100 non-refundable pet fee for pets 
Discounted rates available for stays of two months or longer.
