Tranquility Base in Santa Cruz

Tranquility Base is a cozy cottage at the end of a quiet country road bordered by Lompico Creek.
This little gem is a haven for writers and anyone seeking a rejuvenation of the spirit. The fresh
air is the elixer. The giant trees give shade and solace. The ferns and the creek frame the picture.
Your mountain hideaway is just a jaunt away from the the bustling Bay Area.

Everything you need is packed into 600 square feet. Kitchen has range, microwave, refrigerator,
coffee maker, coffee grinder, pots, pans, blender, hand mixer, serviceware.

Each of the two bedrooms has a queen bed and a private entry door as well as the interior door.
The larger front bedroom has a skylight. The back bedroom is more den-like and the back door opens
out onto the hot tub yard.

There is no formal diningroom. The big front deck has Weber BBQ, fire pit, tables, chairs, the sound
of the creek trinkling by, views of the trees and creek. The very private back deck has the hot tub,
table chairs. The livingroom has a skylight, WI-FI, cable TV, DVD, video, CD player, an entire wall
of view windows. Each bedroom has cable TV, DVD. Linens are provided.

Loch Lomond Recreation Area is 5 minutes away. Seasonal use. There are paddle boat and row boat
rentals, fishing for indigenous bass, stocked trout, blue gill. Hiking trails abound in the
neighborhood. In Felton town there is Henry Cowell's Redwood State Park and a twenty minute drive up
Hwy 9 there is Big Basin Redwood State Park. Just in the heart of Felton is the Felton Covered
Bridge Park with play equipment, huge grassy area, and the San Lorenzo river. The Lime Kilns are all
around the Felton neighborhoods. Santa Cruz is 25 minutes away. Scotts Valley is 20 minutes away.
