day simply relaxing or visit nearby Waipio Valley which is famous for being the most beautiful spot on
the island with its black sand beach, amazing plants and waterfalls it has been described as a garden
of Eden. Or walk to Old town Honokaa where time has stood still and Old Hawaii still lives. Enjoy
unique shops, local food, and even a historic theater which has two features weekly. No chain stores

One side of the property is bordered by tropical gulch with of many types of colorful fragrant Gingers
as well as Kikui Nut trees, Palm trees, Papayas, Bananas, Avocados, and a variety of Citrus trees.
There are also Ferns and tropical flowers like Heliconia, Hibiscus, Orchids, etc. There is a 10 foot
and 30 foot intermittent Waterfall.
The cottage is fully furnished with phone, wi-fy internet access, satellite television, kitchen,
barbecue, laundry facilities, full bath, queen bed, hair dryer, iron, book, games, and fresh flowers.

Town; an old Sugar Cane Town, with shops, galleries, historic points of interest and a movie

The town of Honokaa is a center for well established Artists and Craft people of
the Hamakua Coast- much as the Monterey-Carmel Coast was in the 1950s' and 60s'. Be sure and visit the
new art center down the hill located in the old macademia nut factory. Quilts, art glass, antiques,
fudge, jewelry, and more are to be found in the shops on Mamane street.
