Enjoy my lovely home with boat dock (bring your own boat if you
wish), use my kayaks, 47" LCD TV on full motion wall mount, large hot tub, and a few beach bikes. You will love the heated pool. It is
beautiful! I designed the pool to have a very large first step about
one foot deep to be used as a kiddie pool or great spot for
sunbathing. Area also has beach access just across A1A. My favorite
beach is about 1/2 mile south of my home. Here you will find the
South Beach Grill Restaurant/Lounge overlooking the ocean,
pavillions, plenty of parking, and drive on beach access. 

How would you like to relax on your 10x20 floating dock with a
fishing pole in your hand?

As you drive up to my intercoastal canal home you will find a brick
front home that sits on the culdasac of the canal. How lucky to have
the view of the length of the canal.

You will be surprised when you walk into this light and bright home
with Palm trees and tropical paintings.

Relax on the leather sleeper sofa or on the most comfortable leather
rocker recliner while watching your favorite cable channel on my 47"
LCD TV with DVD and cable channels.

The large master bedroom has a king size bed and a twin. Very nice
and spacious room. A 32" LCD TV/DVD on a wall mount, a large
walkin closet, and a private full bathroom.

2nd bedroom is bright and cheerful with my favorite fish decor. Has
a
full/queen bed and a twin.  26" LCD TV/DVD also in this room. 2nd bathroom
with a shower. All very nice quality towels.

The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you will need. Lots
of extras such as the large electric griddle for family breakfast
feast. A honeymoon table in the kitchen which seats only two but so
cute. The dining area has a round rattan table which seats 4.

You will also enjoy having your morning cup of coffee overlooking
the pool and waterway. Or it might be time to slip into the large
hot tub and lounge as you relax in the massaging jets as you plan
your day.

This 14x40 covered patio is wonderful. Tables and chairs for outdoor
dining. A Weber grill and a outdoor TV on a wall mount.

Inside my 2 car garage is a full size washer and dryer for your use.
Also, you will find 2-3 bikes. These are fat tire bikes
you may ride on the beach.

Also, you will find two tandem kayaks with life
jackets and paddles. Just go out the back door of the garage and
lunch your kayak in your back yard off the boat dock. You may also
bring your own boat and fishing poles. I will be glad to help you
with questions about the waterway and directions to the boat ramps
in the area.

Wow!! That's all I can say to sum up this beach house.
My family of six, including my four kids ages 3, 8, 14, and 15 just had an absolute blast.

First of all, location location location!! Right down the street from the ocean, i mean just barely across the street! The house is tucked back into a quiet little subdivision, and it is RIGHT on the mantanzas river! We all had so much fun exploring the waterways in the ride on top kayaks. My husband and I really bonded when the waves got choppy and gave us an adrenaline rush!!
The pool- fantastic!! It was in the mid 70's the whole time we were there, but the pool is HEATED! And wonderful Donna was even kind enough to turn the heater on in advance, so the kids jumped right in after our long car ride. The big first step into the pool was ideal for Noah, our three year old. If it wasn't for that, someone would have had to hold him the entire time he was in the pool. Not to mention, there is a very cool bench on the side of the pool just a foot in for a more grown-up lounge. Oh, and the pool is about six feet deep!! Which we all LOVED!! There were a bunch of very-cool inflatable toys in the garage, including a giant killer whale that made Grace, my 8 year old who is suddenly too cool for barbies, squeal like a two year old when I hefted it out! There was even a toddler seat for Noah to swim in, AND some floaties that I wish I hadn't just spent eight dollars on! Talk about a fully stocked pool!
The hot tub was such a nice touch. My husband and I have been fantasizing about buying one ever since! It is just so relaxing to slip into after a long day of sight seeing and museum hopping with four kids!
The best thing about the pool and hot tub though is again- location location location!! Privacy, beautiful view, easy to see from inside the house so the kids were easy to watch. Not to mention, if we had stayed in a hotel we would have had to drag four kids up and down and in and out of hallways and elevators to go swim. No thank you!!
Now, the house. Just immaculate ! Very very clean, all the linens were crisp and smelled amazing. There are tvs in every room, even outside!! Cable and kids shows galore. Starter soaps and toilet paper, nice dishes including martini glasses!! And we just loved eating outside at the six person dinette on the patio. The yard is beautiful, so interesting and tropical. Donna was AMAZING!!! She really made us feel welcome. We booked it again before we left!!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Owners response: Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a descriptive review. This home is amazing! I am so glad you had a great time and will be returning in the summer. Home is situated on a canal with easy access to the Matanzas River. The 10x20 boat dock in your back yard makes it nice to dock your boat or keep the kayaks on the dock ready for your next adventure. It is down the canal and to the left and you are there! The river is very wide with lots of areas to kayak without the wake. Yes, the wake would be fun but maybe a little scary when a huge yacht goes by. If you decide to ever bring a boat... the trip to the Historic District or ocean inlet by boat is about 30 minutes or 10 miles.
You will enjoy the trip since not many "no wake" zones. The pool was designed by myself. I had small children in mind when I made the entrance into the pool so large. It is like a kiddie pool all in one. Glad your youngest son had so much fun in this heated pool. The atmosphere is very tropical and relaxing, just what you needed. Under the 14x40 covered patio is the LED TV, patio set for 6, Weber Grill, and hot tub that stays hot all the time and is just wonderful rain or shine, winter or summer. You will have so much fun when you return in July. Home is very well stocked with quality items since I really enjoy shopping for the more quality furnishings. I only hope that my guests appreciate it like you have and that makes it all worth it. Yes, I buy expensive linens and take great pride in laundering them myself. I am very involved with my homes and there cleaning along with the cleaners between each and every guest. I enjoy what I do and love for everyone to have a great time. Thank you and see you in July!
