Yonahlossee Saddle Club is a gated private community conveniently
located between Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Guests at
Cool Retreat II enjoy full amenity privileges at the nearby
Yonahlossee Resort and Club where indoor and outdoor tennis courts,
fully equipped Pro Shop, two full-time tennis Pros, a 25-yard indoor
pool, fitness center, and fine dining restaurant await.

One enters this grand home through double Arts and Crafts inspired
doors into a spacious Foyer with tile floors. One is immediately
captivated by the double sided stone fireplace (with gas-logs) topped
with poplar bark shingles separating the Living Area from the Dining
Area that rises from floor to ceiling. Never-ending windows allow
absolute admiration of the views of the trees and mountains beyond.
The comfortable Living Area is furnished with leather sofas facing the
fireplace. Built-in bookshelves are adorned with mountain artifacts
and collectibles. Access to the very, very large deck can be made from
the Living Area. Let's not forget to mention the fabulous views from
the Living Area....

On the other side of the double fireplace is the Dining Area with its
commodious dining table -- perfect for family gatherings and feasts.
One can also access the deck from the Dining Area where outdoor dining
can be enjoyed at one of the several outdoor dining tables.

The hospitable Kitchen was designed for multiple food preparers and
has plenty of counter space and cabinetry. The counters are topped
with granite, and the appliances are all stainless steel. An eight-foot eat-at bar separates the Kitchen from the Dining Area.  Located just off the Kitchen is a Butler's Pantry with additional cabinets and prep area and a Powder Room.

Located on the main floor is the absolutely wonderful Master Bedroom
suite. Imagine a king four poster bed, waking up to views of the
mountains, your own TV, and a private balcony with views of the horse
pasture. If that is not enough, take a trip to the Master Bath with
sitting area, tile floors, circulating spa tub, separate tile shower
stall, double vanities, and a separate commode closet.

In the Foyer are wide stairs that lead to a Family Room/Loft that
overlooks the Living and Dining Areas below. The huge windows from
below extend to the loft lending almost a "tree house" effect. This
area is adorned with comfortable couches and chairs and has a large
screen TV.

All three of the Guest Bedrooms on the lower level have their own
private, adjoining, full baths; and access to the large deck equipped
with lounging chairs, tables, and an over sized striped hammock.
Additionally, the owners have placed TVs in every bedroom! The
spacious Guest Bedroom 1 has a king bed, and Guest Bedroom 2 has a
queen bed. Guest Bedroom 3, also a very sizable room, offers a king
bed and a set of bunk beds. There is certainly sleeping for all in
this family friendly home.

The owners have recently created the "coolest" Game Room on the lower
lower level. This spacious play area contains both pool and ping pong
tables, a wet bar, and sitting area with plush leather furniture

Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Boone is the home of Appalachian State

minutes away is the historic Village of Blowing Rock and the Blue
Ridge Parkway with its miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, camp
grounds, fishing lakes, and scenic vistas. Nearby local attractions
include Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, the Blowing Rock,
Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, public golf courses, and four ski
resorts.

Rates vary according to the season and do include a departure
cleaning. Cool Retreat II is available for nightly, weekly, or monthly
rentals. Pets may be permitted, and this is a non-smoking home.
Nightly rates range from $499 to $699 per night. Rates are reduced
for stays of three or more nights. Weekly and monthly discounts are
also available.
