"Woodlands" - Beautiful, Private Smoky Mountain Cabin in Townsend

"Woodlands" is a beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom cabin located in Townsend, Tennessee near the
Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cades Cove. Situated on several acres of forest, this cabin
is perfect for couples and families looking for a quiet retreat.

This cabin is beautifully furnished with oak and leather furniture, cozy quilts and artwork of the
Smoky Mountains. There are rockers and a swing on the porches (one screened), large hot tub, two
televisions w/cable, dvd player & movies, wood burning fireplace, dining seating for 6 people, fully
equipped kitchen, charcoal grill, full size washer & dryer, games, books & puzzles.
Our guests can swim free at the Laurel Valley pool located just 7 minutes away.
Sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwash detergent and laundry
detergent are provided. Firewood is provided in season (Oct. - March). Cleanliness is a priority
with us so you will always find your cabin extremely clean upon arrival.
The driveway is level with packed down gravel and is acceptable for motorcycles.
"Woodlands" does not accept pets of any size and is a no smoking cabin.

The national park entrance is approximately 8-10 minutes away from the cabin. Cades Cove is just 7
miles thru the forest from the park entrance. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are approximately 25-30
minutes from Townsend.
Townsend is a quiet, relaxing town with "mom & pop" restaurants, little craft and antique shops and
no crowds! Activities include hiking, biking, golfing, swimming, tubing, horseback riding and
fishing. It's the closest town to Cades Cove, a historic pioneer settlement in the national park
where you're likely to see black bears, deer, coyotes, turkeys and other wildlife.

$130 per night plus tax for up to 4 people. Each additional person $5 per night. Stay 7
consecutive nights and the 7th night is free (not valid during October). I do not charge cleaning
fees or reservation fees. Limit of 6 people in this cabin. Please email for reduced winter rates.
