Point, this one bedroom
oceanfront cottage is only steps from the Caribbean Sea and is
convenient for swimming, snorkeling
and beach activities. Ideal for couples.
Simple Pleasures has a spacious bedroom with king bed, a full breezy
kitchen, a shower and bath, a
comfortable living area looking out to water, and two screened
porches totaling 910 square feet...
freshly renovated in 2007-8. Each room has a Casablanca fan overhead.
Simple Pleasures is far from the touristy areas. But a 10 minute walk
along the twisting beach leads
to Red Sail Beach, where the Rum Point Club, Wreck Bar, BBQ, beach
hammocks,and Red Sail Dive shop
are located.
Simple Pleasures provides hybrid bicycles and a good selection of
snorkels and fins, complements of
the Stein Family. We suggest you purchase a well fitted dive mask at
home and bring it with you.
The average daily low temperature in the Cayman Islands in January is
73 degrees and the average
high is 81 degrees; In July the average low is 80 degrees and average
high is 87.
You may arrange to stay at the Simple Pleasures Sea Lodge for as few as
four nights and as long as a
month. (...A month is better.)

You don't need to bring a lot with you. The Stein family supplies the
towels, sheets, a hairdryer,
snorkels, fins, and bicycles. Simple Pleasures provides porch
furniture and two beach chaise
loungers.
You'll have Wireless and Ethernet Internet access and your phone
calls within Grand Cayman will be
free.
The kitchen seats and serves four and includes an electric
stove,oven, coffee maker, microwave,
refrigerator/freezer, toaster, and the essential blender. You will
probably have
most of your home meals out on the porch, in daytime looking out to
the Caribbean and at night
looking up to the stars.
The bathroom has a very large mirror and the room is equipped with a
tub, shower and hairdryer.
The bedroom contains a king bed, dresser,night stands and several
lamps as well as a closet and one
side of the room allows jalousies to open to the Caribbean.
The porches are tiled and screened, with a table and 4 chairs,
reclining loungers and a grill.

Hike the Mastic Trail, Kayak the mangroves of North Sound, luxuriate
in nature. Visit local farmer
Willie Ebanks and experience the sensuality of a Custard Apple, a
dozen varieties of mango, and other
local fruit.Take the snorkel boat to Sting Ray City, Dive Tarpon
Alley and the astonishing "North
Wall" that drops from 85 feet to 6000 feet deep.
You dont have to drive anywhere to sunbathe on our sandy beach. Stay
home and let the warm Caribbean
current sooth your tired muscles, snorkel our local reef, or perfect
your swim
stroke.Discuss the old ways with our maintenance man, Benji Ebanks,
who remembers Cayman before
electricity and
roads. Or just sit under the palm tree, sip a cool drink from your
blender, read a book and lose
yourself for a while.

6 night minimum.  Any rental under 6 nights will be charged at the High Season rate.

High Season:  December - March  $200/night

Spring & Fall Season:  April- May, October- November  $185/night

Summer Season:  June - September  $145/night

Rates are for 2 occupants.  Any children add an additional $15/night
