Carriage House in San Luis Obispo

The Carriage House, an intimate one-room B & B, is located in an historic neighborhood near downtown
San Luis Obispo. Two blocks to the train station. Quaintly furnished with antiques, old quilts, and
stained glass, you'll feel as though you've stepped back in time, yet you'll have all the modern
conveniences. This large room is on the second floor with a private entrance. French doors lead to a
flower-filled balcony overlooking neighborhood treetops.

Your room is furnished with a sumptuous queen bed, a loveseat, a daybed with trundle, antique
dressers and armoire. Wifi equipped.

We take pride in being the most environmentally-conscious lodging house on the Central Coast. Our
sheets are washed with Seventh Generation detergent and hung on the line to dry. No toxic cleaning
products are used. Your bed is made up with fine cotton sheets, a down comforter, and an antique hand-
crocheted bedspread. Breakfast is a help-yourself affair of organic cereal or muffins, free-range eggs,
locally-grown fruit, fair-trade coffee and tea. A bottle of organic wine or apple cider makes a
refreshing treat upon your arrival. Cooking facilities are not available, but numerous cafes are within
walking distance.

Come to San Luis Obispo on the train, and we'll loan you two bikes to get around with. It's an easy 12-
mile ride to the beach, and you can return to SLO on a local bus equipped with bike racks. Numerous
hiking and cycling trails are nearby. San Luis Obispo is in the heart of the Central Coast wine region.
We can connect you with wine-tasting tours or provide maps if you'd rather go out on our own. Hearst
Castle is 45 miles up Highway 1 and discounted tickets are available with advance non-refundable

High Season - June 1-September 30 and holidays throughout the year: $100 a night; $275 for 3 nights;
$625 a week.

Low Season - October 1 - May 31, excluding holiday weekends: $85 a night; $250 for 3 nights; $550 a
week.

Rates are for two persons. $25 for each additional person, maximum of four.
